This year there is a big and positive change in this sale. The Simmental Solutions sale is being sponsored by the Alabama and Georgia Simmentals Associations. In years past the consignors have been from Alabama, Georgia and the southeast however with this change both associations can become stronger and be greater supporters of Simmental genetics and all its programs. There may be a few bumps in the road with this minor change however as sale manager I can safely say there is a strong set of Simmental and SimAngus genetics in this sale. Another positive aspect is that the consignors involved in this sale are excited about the Simmental business and definitely bringing a great set of cattle for your selection. There is no doubt you can select genetics that will fit in the top of your program. If you as a consignor or buyer have any suggestions for future sales please pass on your comments to the sale chairman Larry Rodgers or Randy Moody. The sale consist of a large selection of young bred heifers of superb quality. Many proven cows will be offered plus a group of good pedigreed, classy open heifers. The entire selection will consist of purebred Simmental plus a consistent set of SimAngus both opens and breds. Another highlight of the sale is the elite group of embryos and pregnancies from some of the Alabama and Georgia s best plus breeders from surrounding states.
