Theme: Dream BIG Play BIG Upward mobility is the core message for RBC race for the Kids Hong Kong. The race focuses on supporting youths in our local community. All proceeds from the race will support the Community Creative Learning Centre (CCLC) and Child Development Fund - Growing Partners II (CDF-GPII). These funds provide a platform for youths to unleash their abilities and enhance their upward mobility. Through the race, we hope to pass on the message that young people are individuals with different talents and that academic excellence is not the only way for youths to succeed. No replacements will be given on the day. * Runners without bib and timing chip (for the Timed Race) will be disqualified. Preparation before the race 1. Runners should ensure that they are physically fit to participate in the race. They should undertake sufficient training and preparations before the race and seek professional medical advice when in doubt of their physical conditions. Participation is not advisable if you are unwell. 2. Emergency medical service is available on site if needed. The closest public car parks are the Ma On Shan Centre car park, Ma On Shan Plaza car park and Sunshine City Plaza car park.

4 Baggage Storage Service 1. Participants who require baggage storage service must check their bags before assembly time. 2. Please write down your participants name and bib number on the baggage tag and secure it on your storage baggage before taking it to the Baggage Storage Area. 3. No additional baggage bag or tag will be provided on the event day. 4. Please do not bring or store any valuable items on the event day. The organiser, sponsors and supporting organisations will not be responsible for any loss or damage. 5. Please bring your race bib to the Baggage Storage Area for baggage collection after the race. Official Timing System (For Individual Timed Race Participants only)

5 Bib Tag timing system is adopted in the race for providing timing service and result to 10km and 3km Timed Race in RBC Race for the Kids event only, and participants can keep it as souvenir after the race. How to put on a BibTag? 1. The BibTag is intergrated into the bib. 2. Attach the bib onto your chest with 4 safety pins and number facing outside. 3. Participants are advised to write down their own personal information, emergency contact person s name and telephone number at the back of the Number Cloth for emergency. Remarks: 1. Do not fold the BibTag. 2. Timed race participants must step on the timing mats placed at the starting, turning and finishing points. 3. In case of incorrect use or purposely damage of BibTags, or if participants did not step onto the timing mats, times might not be detected and no results will be provided. Result Announcement 1. Race result will be posted on Result Board. 2. All timed runners can visit our website for complete result from 16 December Prize Giving Ceremony Prize giving ceremony will be held at 9:00 am and 10:15 am respectively. Winners will need to register at the Result Board and assemble near the stage to wait for the prize giving. Goody Bag Pick-up Participants who complete the race can pick up their goody bag at the "Goody Bag Pick-up Area". Certificate upon Completion Each participant can print their own certificates online according to the bib number. those who need a hardcopy, please register in the Information center on the event day An administration fee of $20 will be charged for each hard copy certificate. Participant need to pick up at our Mei Lam center in person. Severe Weather Arrangements If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above is hoisted at any time from 12:00 noon on the day before race, the Black Rainstorm Signal is hoisted at any time from 12:00 am on the race day, and Typhoons Warning Signal No. 3 or Red Rainstorm Warning 2 hours before the start of event, the race will be canceled.

6 In times of Typhoons Warning Signal No. 1, Amber Rainstorm Warning or Thunderstorm Warning before the start of event, the Race Director has the right to stop or adjust the route under safety consideration. Should the above Inclement Weather/Condition Warnings be raised after the commencement of race, the Race Director has the right to change the course distance or arrangement or to stop the race. Participants should listen to radio or television broadcasts in the event of tropical cyclones or heavy persistent rain or check the race day weather from the Hong Kong Observatory (Tel: ). The organizer reserves the right of final decision of the event. Any changes or contingent measures for the event announced by the organizer and posted on the organizer s web page shall prevail. Should the Event be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser or in the case of a force majeure resulting in the Event being cancelled, no refund will be made. The Organiser shall have no other responsibilities and/or liabilities. Handling Accidents Please keep calm and access the situation and injuries seriousness. In case of serious injuries, please inform the organizer to seek assistance from the AMS for first aid services. In the case of a life threatening situation, please call the police immediately and inform the organizer afterwards. Others 1. For safety reason, please follow the instruction and signage announced or shown. 2. The organizer will reserve the right to change the information without further notice. 3. 9 1. 參加者如有需要使用行李寄存服務, 請於集合時間前辨妥行李寄存 2. 請填妥隨函附上的行李標籤 ( 請清楚列明 : 參賽者姓名及參賽編號, 並帶備號碼布, 以作識別 ), 於比賽當日標示於個人行李上, 並交到 行李存放處 3. 比賽當日不會另行派發或補發行李標籤 4. 不要攜帶或寄存任何貴重物品, 如有個人財物損失, 大會恕不負責 5. 活動完畢後, 參賽者必須憑號碼布於 行李存放處 領回行李 大會指定計時系統 ( 只適用於個人計時賽 ) 本次比賽採用 Bib Tag 晶片計時系統, 為個人計時賽參賽者計時及提供個人成績, 計時晶片已貼於號碼布背面 此為單次性使用及尊為 RBC 童心競賽 而設, 比賽過後參賽者可留為紀念 如何佩帶 BibTag 計時晶片? 1. 計時晶片已貼在號碼布的背面 2. 跑手只須利用 4 個扣針把號碼布掛在胸前, 編號向前 3. 參加者請用防水筆於號碼布背面填上個人資料 緊急聯絡人姓名及電話, 以便大會及救護人員在緊急情況下聯絡參加者之家屬或親友

10 注意 : 1. 請勿摺疊晶片 2. 個人計時賽參加者必須踏過起點 折返點及終點的計時地蓆 3. 參賽者須正確佩帶計時晶片, 如錯誤佩帶或摺斷晶片而導致成績失誤, 大會將不能提供參加者的比賽成績 成績公佈 1. 賽事完畢後, 大會將會把得獎名單公佈於 成績板 上, 請各跑手屆時上前查閱成績 2. 個人計時賽的參賽者可於 2018 年 12 月 16 日起登入活動網址 查閱個人成績及時間 頒獎典禮 頒獎典禮將於賽事當日的上午約 9 時及 10 時 15 分舉行, 請各得獎跑手於比賽完畢後到 成績板 前與大會工作人員登記, 並於頒獎台前集合等候領獎 紀念品 所有完成賽事的參加者請到 紀念品領取處 領取紀念品乙袋 完成證書 每位參加者均可憑號碼布編號於網上自行列印證 如需本會代為列印, 可於比賽當日到 詢問處 進行登記 ( 本會將就每份正本證書收取行政費用港幣 20 元正 ), 並需親臨領領取 惡劣天氣安排 如於比賽前一天中午十二時或之後懸掛八號或以上颱風訊號 比賽當日凌晨十二時或之後懸掛黑色暴雨警告訊號及於活動開始前兩小時發出三號強風訊號或紅色暴雨警告, 賽事將會取消 若天文台於活動開始前發出一號戒備訊號 黃色暴雨警告或雷暴警告, 大會將按情況決定賽時是否需要中止或調整活動路線, 以確保安全 如比賽進行中天氣惡劣或懸掛上述任何警告, 賽事總監有權將比賽賽程改變或取消正在進行中的比賽 參加者請留意電台或電視台之天氣報告廣播, 或致電香港天文台查詢有關天氣情況 ( 電話 : ) 本賽事委員會擁有修改及解釋以上規則的權利 任何有關活動的臨時改動或取消, 將以大會網站公報為準 如比賽因任何非大會所能控制或不可抗力的情況下而被迫取消, 所有報名費將不獲退還, 大會亦不會負有任何其他責任 意外處理 如在活動進行中發生意外, 參加者應保持鎮定, 評估當時情況及鑑定傷者傷勢 大會已安排醫療輔助隊於路段上作支援 在較嚴重的情況下, 應立即通知大會安排醫療輔助隊協助 如發生一些對生命有威脅的意外, 請立即與警方聯絡, 之後才通知大會 其他事宜 1. 由於比賽當日參加者眾多, 請依從大會工作人員指示, 以免釀成意外或造成賽事不必要的延誤 2. 主辦機構已購買公眾責任保險
