17 Overall Assessments Overall Achievements Achieved '16 PAC-REACH Exercise Objective - Strengthen international cooperation in DISSUB rescue and improve rescue capability - Build trust and friendship among participating nations and observers * Share and acquire experiences and knowledge in DISSUB rescue training and related new tactics and techniques Develop Combined Command Capability for SUB rescue * Employ effective C2 and Combined Staff for operating the assets from 6 nations Intel Sharing in SUB Safety through SMOSC * Participation from neighboring countries (USㆍJPNㆍPRCㆍRUS) and many submarine operating countries (80+ personnel from 19 nations incl. Korea) * Idea exchanges in regards to SUB safety through SUB safety topic presentations(7 presentations from 6 nations) Intel Sharing in Medicine and Underwater Medicine for SUB escape crew personnel * USN share treatment and diagnosis of USN decompression sickness, USN introduce treatment plan and procedure for decompression sickness
