Another year has come and gone, but it s not over quite yet!! This Saturday (December 12th) we have Huish Outdoors coming to show us the latest gear from Atomic, Liquivision, Stahlsac, and Bare Wetsuits and we are giving special oneday-only discounts on these brands from 10am-4pm. Complimentary snack and drinks are provided as well. We also have a couple of special classes that day including a nitrox class that can earn you a $50 store voucher and two Project AWARE classes that are perfect for divers and non-divers of all ages. Read more about those on page three! Coming up in January we have the Polar Bear Dive (see below for details) and the Lone Star State Dive & Travel Expo on January 23rd and 24th in Frisco. Your IS Family 15th ANNUAL POLAR BEAR DIVE JANUARY 1ST, 2016 CSSP TERRELL, TX Check-in: 10AM First Divers in: 11AM Join International Scuba at Clear Springs Scuba Park on January 1st, 2016 to show off your polar bear skills! This will be the 15th annual polar bear dive and we expect it to be bigger and better than ever. The park will open at 10am for sign ups. Admission is $30 for all divers and includes a commemorative t-shirt and hot breakfast. Observers are $5. The first splash will be 11am and all diving will finish promptly at noon when awards will be handed out. You could win an award for the longest dive, the shortest dive, the youngest diver, having to drive the farthest to get there, and more! Start off the year with a splash! 3 4 5

Simply write down everything your heart desires, leave a copy with us, then take your copy to distribute to friends and family. When they drop by or call to purchase presents for you, we will know exactly what to steer them towards. If you aren t sure what you might want, then just tell them to buy you a gift card. Transactions can even be completed over the phone for those long distance relatives. Don t get stuck with stuff you don t need. Ask Santa for what you really want to make the most out of your holidays! Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to get certified. Number of years diving? Number of years as professional? How many dives? 20 years diving, 8 years professional, and 1893 dives (And counting). What brought you to International Scuba? Tell us something about yourself that your diving friends would be surprised to learn. I am a hapless romantic If you could leave tomorrow to live in the islands where would it be? St Thomas (USVI), it s close by with a god mixture of culture and diving and you don t even need a passport. What is your oddest diving experience? Searching for a weapon in a stock tank while a bull was running around on shore. It was strange. International Scuba took over Aqua World in Garland, so you could say they came to me. What is the one tip you would like to share with a new diver? MEET THE STAFF Keith Davis MSDT Never stop learning new skills. There is something for everyone and no reason to get bored or stop training. Every skill will make you a better diver, no matter what kind of skill it is. If you were to come back as a fish in your next life what kind of fish would you be? I m going to go a little outside the box here and say a carp.
