2 Luton Challenge 28 It is with great pleasure that we invite you and your divers to compete here again and celebrate the oldest running club competition in the UK! This year the competition will run from Friday 27 th to Sunday 29 th, including an opportunity to train on Thursday night from 6-8pm (please contact Hayley on to book a place for your divers). The Challenge is held at Inspire: Luton Sports Village, with state of the art facilities, a fully equipped 10m diving pool and Dry Dive. Pairs Knockout The most exciting event EVER: pairs are competing in a knockout event to win money! Each team must consist of a boy and a girl, one that is a current group A or Senior, and one that is a current group B, C or D/E. Prize money to 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd. Ages as of this year Individual Events There will be 1m, 3m and platform events for all age groups. All events will have finals: only one of these will be the Blue Ribbon event with top 6 progressing to the final and prize money! Again the Challenge aims to ready the divers going into the new year so: Please Note; all age groups events will be as per 2016 age groups, not 2015 i.e. if your diver is 13 as at 31 December 2015, they will dive the Luton meet in Group B. This applies to all our age groups except the pairs. To enable us to complete our event within our timetable, we will be limiting the numbers in each age group. This year ALL events will have a 3 dive final. Only one of these will be a Blue Ribbon event, see time table for finals and blue ribbon events (highlighted). There will be a no points carry over. All prelim events will be simultaneous with the exception of A/Snr Platform.

5 Pairs Knockout Conditions Each pair is to consist of one boy and one girl, one from Group B or below, and one from Group A or above (16 or over). Each diver to perform 3 dives from different groups per round, (no repeat dives), the youngest diver performing dives of a minimum dd of 2.0, and the older diver performing dives of a minimum dd of 2.2. The dives may be performed on any of the following boards 1m/3m/5m The couples to dive off in pairs on a knockout basis, pairings will be determined after the first round which will be run as an eliminator with the top 8 pairs going through to round two and the knockout stage. Pairs then go head to head. PAIRS DO NOT HAVE TO BE FROM THE SAME CLUB.
