2 INVITATION In the name of the National Ski Association and the Organizing Committee we proudly invite you to the FIS WORLD CUP TELEMARK from 19th to 20th of January 2016 In the holiday Village of La Thuile in Aosta Valley! Here you can find all basic details about the place, dates, schedule, arrival, etc. GENERAL INFORMATION La Thuile is located on an altitude reachable by lift between 1441 and 2641 metres, with one of the most important glacier (Ruitor) of the Alps 3446 mt. It is famous for its international connection by ski with the French ski station of La Rosiere. The view of the Mont Blanc peak dominates all the slopes in La Thuile. The holiday paradise of La Thuile is a small village situated where everything is easily reached. It is a world of unspoiled natural beauty, health, Alpine views, sporting adventure and family holiday, where nature is fun. Situated in the north west of Italy, in the smallest region of Italy, La Thuile is easily reachable by the higway from Milan, Tourin and from the Mont Blanc tunnel. Last year on the 19th,20th and 21st of February La Thuile was the theatre of the Audi Ladies Ski world cup. 4 ORGANISATION This event is organized under the auspices of the Telemark World Cup Organizing Committee. The official address for all correspondence is listed at the end of this document. REGISTRATION Registration will be at the organizing committee until the 9th january Due the high interest from press we kindly ask for a short essay which contains all important successes and interesting facts of your athletes and team. Please try to answer some basic questions like: City of residence of the athlete, hobbies, sports, past results, skiing background, status in team... Contact is infowc@lathuile.net. ACCOMMODATIONS In the package is included: Ski room in hotel Lift tickets Entry for scheduled special events Entry fee for FIS World Cup Access to the internet in press or race office The cost of the package in full board is CHF 100 to pay when you arrive in La Thuile at the accommodation desk of the Planibel Resort. 5 BIBS For best 15 athlets men and best 10 althlets women the public bib draw will be held. Start numbers for all others will be drawn and distributed at the Team Captains meeting. They must be returned immediately after each event. RULES & INSURANCE This event will be conducted according to the rules of the FIS. Every participant is responsible forher/his insurance. The telemark World Cup Organizing Committee cannot be held liable in any form.
