2 INVITATION In the name of the National Ski Association and the Organizing Committee we proudly invite you to the FIS WORLD CUP OPENING 2016 TELEMARK from on the Hintertux Glacier in the holiday region Tux-Finkenberg! Here you can find all basic details about the place, dates, schedule, arrival etc. GENERAL INFORMATION Tux-Finkenberg is located on an altitude between 850 and metres, with the peaks of the Alps soaring above you up to metres. The holiday paradise Tux-Finkenberg has six small villages: Finkenberg, Tux-Vorderlanersbach, Tux-Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux. Together they offer a world of unspoiled natural beauty, health, Alpine views, sporting adventure and family holiday. Situated in the west of Austria, Tyrol, Tux-Finkenberg is not far from the famous attractions in the Alps. Many attractions can be reached in a day trip as an example the Swarovski Kristallwelten, the state capital Innsbruck, which was the venue of the Olympic Games of 1964 and 1976, the Bergisel ski jump and many more. The further on with the Zillertalbahn and the busses to Finkenberg Tux Hintertux. Private Transport/by road: Coming from the north (Munich): A93 to Kiefersfelden/Kufstein, A12 to exit Zillertal. Then B169 to Mayrhofen, further on to the L6 to Tux.

3 ORGANISATION This event is organized under the auspices of the Telemark World Cup Organizing Committee. The official address for all correspondence is listed at the end of this document. REGISTRATION Registration will be at the office of tourism in Tux-Finkenberg either on or Due the high interest from press we kindly ask for a short essay which contains all important successes and interesting facts of your athletes and team. Please try to answer some basic questions like: City of residence of the athlete, hobbies, sports, past results, skiing background, status in team... Contact is registration@fis-worldcup.com. TEAM CAPTAINS MEETING The first team captains meeting will be held on Thursday, at 5:30 p.m. in the Tux-Center. BIBS For best 15 athletes (women & men) the public bib draw will be held. Start numbers for all others will be drawn and distributed at the Team Captains meeting. They must be returned immediately after each event.

4 RULES & INSURANCE This event will be conducted according to the rules of the FIS. Every participant is responsible for her/his insurance. The telemark World Cup Organizing Committee cannot be held liable in any form. OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARDS All changes of the program will be posted on the main board at the Race Office in the Tux-Center.
