2 Introduction & Programme Dear Colleagues, the ISURA Group is an international group of clinicians who have been teaching and organizing workshops in ultrasound guided regional techniques worldwide for the past seven years. In April 2007, we pioneered an international workshop using specially prepared (flexible) cadavers acting as a three dimensional training model. Due to the overwhelming success of this model in teaching RA in the past we will be repeating this course in 2010, this time including Pain Applications! In 2004 colleagues from Innsbruck, Heidelberg and Bochum combined in the development of a practical cadaveric model for ultrasound guided needling techniques. Like in the living, Moderator: single Moriggl, shot Grauand catheter techniques can be performed and the position of the needle and spread of local anaesthetic observed in real time. This model is of particular value for both research purposes and practical training. In attending this course you will have a unique opportunity to experience this exciting way of learning. Recommendation: applicable to all levels of training, but a refreshment of the relevant anatomy is advisable. A sport events location as well as a new visitors attraction. 40 meters above ground crowning the tower is the Bergisel Panorama- Restaurant. From the panorama platform you will enjoy the 360 view over the Inn Valley and the alps around the Tyrolean capital. The athletic visitor can manage the 455 steps from the entrance to the top of the tower on foot. More comfortable and faster is the new modern funicular.
