1 Decatur Family YMCA Gators Swim Team Valentine Classic 2011 Location: The Greater Decatur 'Y' Decatur, IL Phone: Date: Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 Concessions: Warm-ups: Officials/Timers Coaches : Meet Start: Facility: Scoring: A variety of food and beverages will be available for sale by the Gators. 11:00-11:45am Gym opens at 10:00am (warm-up times will be assigned) 12:00 p.m. 11:45am on deck. Each visiting team needs to supply 1-timer and 1-Official for every 15-swimmers. 8 lane, 25-yard pool, and non-turbulent lane markers with a starting depth of 9.5 feet. A manual timing system will be used. Deck space is limited, staging area and bullpen will be in the gym. HY-TEK Meet Manager will be used to score this meet for individual events and for relays Awards: Ribbons 1-8 individual events and 1-3 relay events. Team trophies 1-3. Entries: Cost: Each swimmer is allowed to compete in 4 individual events and 2 relays. No deck seeding. entries with a HY-TEK disc file if possible. $3.25 per individual event and $12.00 for relays. This is a timed finals meet using watches. Age as of Dec. 1, 2010 determines the age group of a swimmer. Meet Program: Available for a nominal charge. Parking in unmarked parking spots may result in your vehicle being towed. Swimmer/Parent Conduct 1. Swimmers are not allowed on the running track 2. The Therapy Pool is open to Decatur YMCA Members ONLY 3. No tossing or throwing of objects in the gym 4. Respect other peoples property and space in the gym 5. Put trash in receptacles and clean up your team area 6. Have a fun meet 7. The Y is a smoke free zone - NO SMOKING in the building or on the grounds. If you must smoke, please do so in your car.
