2 THE CLUB Adjust your tennis shoes, complete your warm up and prepare to play in one of the most exclusive tennis clubs in Europe. The Tennis Club of Hotel Puente Romano, founded in 1979 by Björn Borg and situated in the prestigious Hotel Puente Romano, offers a complete sporting facility that allows you to enjoy a wide range of sports in a privileged location and with the highest technical assistance. RFET affiliated, the club has been the location for a number of National & International Tournaments; ATP, WTA, Davis Cup, Fed Cup. Participants have included leading players such as Boris Becker, John McEnroe, Emilio Sánchez Vicario & Serena Williams.

3 OUR INSTALATIONS TENNIS & PADDLE COURTS The Puente Romano Tennis Club comprises of 10 courts, of which 8 are clay courts and the remaining 2 plexipave. The Centre Clay Court has capacity to seat 2,500 spectators. The Club is also a preferred home to Paddle players, offering 4 synthetic grass paddle courts. GYMNASIUM The Club s Gymnasium features sophisticated weight lifting and cardiovascular training equipment, along with individual programs set by our personal trainers to ensure peak fitness & improve performance.

4 SERVICES COACHING The Tennis Club offers an array of courses between tennis, paddle & the gymnasium depending on the needs of the individual sportsperson. Courses are available for amateur players as well as professionals and classes can be on an individual or group basis. Tennis & Paddle School is available for all levels, plus a Summer Camp in the months of July & August. The club also has Tai-Chi, Pilates, Yoga & Spinning classes. CHANGING ROOMS The changing rooms are equipped with Sauna & Turkish Baths, Relaxation Room & Massage Rooms in order to fully rest and recuperate after your session. Members who wish to utilize a permanent locker, can do so by renting them annually or monthly. CLUB HOUSE The Club House is a relaxation area for our Members & Guests. It features a Café - Restaurant with a beautiful terrace where Members can top up their energy levels with breakfast or a light lunch. An exclusive boutique is readily equipped with all the new sports tendencies.

5 SERVICES PARKING The Club has a guarded parking area in front if the premises. HOURS OF OPERATION The club is open every day of the year, from 8 am to 10 pm. Some activities finish before closing time to allow guests time to change & relax before the end of the day. MEMBERS CHILDREN The Club welcomes children and encourages them to participate in the numerous classes, programmes & activities on offer. GUESTS Each member of the Puente Romano Tennis Club is given Guest Passes upon joining, and yearly after

6 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ADMISSION OF NEW MEMBERS Fill in the application form provided Have your application approved by the membership committee Pay the fees at the reception of the club, according to the type of membership chosen Be aware of the the Club s internal rules, these will be regarded as accepted from the moment of signing the application MEMBERS RIGHTS Members have the right to access the installations & services available in the Club, in accordance with the type of membership. The right extends to the spouse and children, provided they are registered as a family unit MEMBER S OBLIGATIONS Punctually pay the fees established by the Club Treat the Club s facilities with due care Show the Club Membership Card at the entrance PAYMENT All payments will be made by cash or credit card All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT CLOTHING Players are kindly requested to wear suitable tennis clothing, preferably white, and tennis shoes It is expressly forbidden to wear bathing suits and topless attire In the Club, correct dress and behaviour are expected from members and their guests at all times MEMBERSHIP L APSE Membership shall lapse through tacit renunciation, which shall be regarded to have ocurred when payment of the established fees is discontinued All Club Members whose membership has lapsed have no right to reclaim any money they have paid in respect of fees RESERVATIONS Members may make reservations from 24 hours in advance either by telephone or in person from 9 am every day at the Club s Reception The booking of courts is for periods of 50 minutes A member cannot reserve more than one court at a time per day Should a member preceed to book a court and for any reason cannot play at the appointed time, he / she cannot cede the right to another person In case of two members making their corresponding bookings on the same day but at different times, they cannot make joint use of them, save in the event of there being free courts If courts are free, members can play for more than one hour, subsequent to payment in accordance with the established fees GUESTS Guest passes are not valid during peak hours lost passes will not be re-issued Members may introduce up to 3 guests at any time upon payment of the appropriate Guest Fee One or several members may not invite the same guest on more than one occasion per week. Whilst the Club is keen to welcome members guests, the facilities & services offered are primarily for the use of members The Club may choose to restrict the number of guests in order to ensure the enjoyment of its members CHILDREN The use of the Gymnasium is restricted to persons over 16 years of age The Club reserves the right to to suspend the priveleges of any child who, in the opinion of the management behaves in a manner which is detrimental to the enjoyment of other members Children must be accompanied by an adult who shall be responsible for the former s actions Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to make reservations PETS Pets are not allowed in the Club G ENERA L RULES Access the the Club s facilities & services is exclusively reserved to Club members, Guests of the Hotel Puente Romano, Marbella Club Hotel and Marina Puente Romano owners The Club takes no responsibility for accidents that may occur to members on the Club premises, nor for valuables deposited in lockers or at reception Smoking is stricly forbidden anywhere in the Club A price list is displayed to the public at the Restaurant / Bar of the Club The consumption of food and drinks other than those provided by the Club s facilities, is not permitted The Club reserves the right for the use of the installations for training & competitions, for Hotel Guests and for Special Events organized by the Club.
