In some cases, Challenger events may be managed by the FIVB, where the above regulations shall apply. Above conditions are valid for men s & women s 2-person Beach Volleyball international events. Conditions for other types of international Beach Volleyball events such as 3 X 3 must be negotiated with the FIVB on a case by case basis. The FIVB and the organizer must agree on the number of courts, duration of the competition, etc. if the men s and women s events are held simultaneously at the same venue. 5 2 Final for the Women s Bronze Medal at the FIVB SWATCH WORLD TOUR SHANGHAI GRAND SLAM presented by Jinshan Xinchen 2.2 Candidature Upon the request of Organizers interested to stage and FIVB Beach Volleyball event, the FIVB will provide an information package on the terms and conditions, as well as the FIVB Handbook and a DVD containing promotional videos. For the the staging terms and conditions for FIVB Beach Volleyball events shall be issued by the FIVB by 31 July National Federations and Promoters wishing to host an FIVB Beach Volleyball event must submit the necessary candidature application forms, duly completed and signed, to the FIVB by August 31 st of the year preceding the event, as follows: Candidature questionnaire (BVB/04 form), including the payment order for the sanction fee of USD 5,000 (not required to be paid by Promoters that have staged an FIVB Beach Volleyball event for 10 consecutive years or more). Sanction fee is paid as a candidature fee. If the candidature is rejected by the FIVB or the bidding organization withdraws due to a lack of information and/or financial guarantees, and/or any other reason whatsoever, this fee will not be reimbursed. Promoters organizing an event in a country where two double gender (or four single gender) events are being held in the same year are not required to pay a sanction fee. Detailed layout indicating the dimensions in scale of the stadium/ facilities/venue/courts; Upon the request of the FIVB, a detailed venue drawing in scale including the materials needed to set up a stadium. An FIVB venue consultant may advise first time promoters about the setup and layout of the required infrastructure to ensure security levels are met and that a uniformity among stadiums and facilities used in FIVB Beach Volleyball events is created. Approval of a sand sample to be sent to Hutcheson Sand and Mixes laboratory (see contact information in Chapter 13); Color pictures, plans and brochures of the area hosting the event, as well as the hosting city; Financial plan/tentative budget; Guarantee/deposit for License fee (if required by FIVB) and/or insurance policy covering the Prize Money in case of cancellation; Commitment to include a PR company in the Organizing Committee (if required by FIVB) for the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships only; Formal endorsement of the Continental Confederation concerned. The FIVB retains the right to refuse a candidature if it is incomplete or if the deadline to submit it is passed. ORGANIZERS FIVB PARTICIPATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. GENERAL PRINCIPLES Note: National Federations and Promoters in possession of an agreement with the FIVB that is still in force are only required to pay the annual sanction fee of USD 5,000 (if applicable) and to forward the BVB/21, BVB/22 and BVB/23 forms to the FIVB by August 31 st of the year preceding the event (s). 31

6 32 Centre court in Aland (FIN) 2.3 FIVB/NF-Promoter Agreement Upon FIVB acceptance of the Organizers candidature, an agreement must be signed (incl. the Appendices) no later than the 30 th of September of the year preceding the event by the three parties involved (FIVB, the host National Federation and the promoter). The agreement may also be signed by the FIVB and a National Volleyball Federation (without a professional Promoter) or by the FIVB and a Promoter should a National Federation not be interested in such a legal binding document. After consulting the National Federation, the FIVB is has the right to sign an agreement directly with the Promoter interested in organizing an FIVB event. The agreement includes the main body of the agreement plus appendices and references the latest edition of the FIVB Handbook for more detailed requirements for all parties involved. Organizers that hold a valid agreement with the FIVB, are invited to take part in the annual Beach Volleyball World Tour Council (for Grand Slam and World Championships events) or Beach Volleyball Council (for Open events) meetings. Organizers must fulfill the candidature requirements and the terms set out in the FIVB/NF/Promoter agreement to be entered into the FIVB Beach Volleyball Calendar. Organizers failing to comply with the critical requirements will be removed from the current and any future FIVB Beach Volleyball Calendars or be downgraded to lower leverl of FIVB event. Organizers may be asked to host a lower category event for the first year to demonstrate that they can successfully stage an elite FIVB Beach Volleyball event in the future. The FIVB may request that the Organizers wire an advanced payment for the license fee to the FIVB upon signature of the FIVB/NF-Promoter Agreement. The FIVB/NF-Promoter agreement with new Promoters may be signed by the FIVB only upon receipt of the 1 st instalment of the license fee and the proof that the sand sample tested is of an acceptable standard. A confirmed FIVB Promoter organizing a single gender FIVB Beach Volleyball event in a particular country has the first right of refusal should another promoter express an interest in staging an FIVB Beach Volleyball event for the other gender in the same country. Two promoters may be granted the right to stage events in the same category (both men and women) in the same country only upon previous approval of the parties involved (National Federation and Promoters concerned). The conditions are valid for international men and women 2-person Beach Volleyball events. FIVB Beach Volleyball events may be held in indoor facilities upon a request submitted in due time to the FIVB. 2.4 Organizer s Obligations and Budget The following points represent the Organizer s major responsibilities, expenses and income to be considered when planning a budget for an FIVB Beach Volleyball event. A. Promoter s Responsibilities and Expenses 1. General International and local travel, as well as board and lodging expenses, for the attendance of one representative at the Beach Volleyball World Tour Council meeting (for Grand Slam and World Championships events) and/or at the Beach Volleyball Council meeting (for Open events) in Lausanne; Insurance covering the Prize Money in case of cancellation; Insurance covering the risk of damage resulting from accidents caused by a stand collapsing or any other faulty or incorrectly installed equipment and/or infrastructure. 2. Inspection Visit International travel expenses (economy class), local transportation, meals, and accommodation requirements for one FIVB inspector: either the FIVB TV Coordinator 2/3 months before the event for the annual TV inspection visit and/or the FIVB Delegate 2/3 months before the event to review the status of the overall preparation of the event; To cover the costs and fees related to the sand inspection visit for a minimum stay of 2 days at all events where the standard of the sand is poor. 3. Sanction Fee An FIVB annual sanction fee of USD 5,000 is required for FIVB World Tour Grand Slam and FIVB Open events. The fee to be paid to the FIVB for the granting of the Organizer s exploitation rights for the FIVB World Championships is communicated to interested parties upon receipt of their request through the relevant NF.

Auxiliary Officials usually live in the local area and therefore most of them do not need board and lodging. The Referee Manager, any assistants, Court Managers and all other key court personnel, (e.g. ball fetchers, rakers, kids camp leaders etc.), are required to attend this clinic. All local referees from new tournaments or tournaments reported as problematic (for refereeing at the previous edition) must also attend this clinic; Accommodation arrangements and expenses for the Organizing Committee Members and other staff members needed to run an FIVB Beach Volleyball event for a minimum of eleven nights, excluding the personnel responsible for setting up and dismantling the venue, who will be required to stay on site in accordance with the venue construction plan; For FIVB World Championships, accommodation arrangements and expenses for the participating teams (48 teams per gender) from the evening before the start of the Main Draw until the day after the teams elimination from the event. The Promoter will also be responsible for covering one extra night (if it is the case) for the finalists of each gender in order to accommodate media requests. For FIVB World Championships, accommodation arrangements and expenses for a minimum of six (6) journalists representing international media. For FIVB World Tour Grand Slam events, accommodation arrangements and expenses for 32 participating teams in the Main Draw tournament (per gender) from the evening before the start of the Main Draw until the day after the teams elimination from the event; For FIVB Open events, accommodation arrangements and expenses for 32 participating teams (per gender) from the evening before the start of the Main Draw until the day after the teams elimination from the event; It is recommended that a wireless internet connection is set up at the hotel. 8. For FIVB World Championships & FIVB World Tour Grand Slam, international transportation for a one (1) Marketing Delegate and one (1) Medical Delegate (if assigned). For FIVB World Championships and FIVB World Tour Grand Slam events, international transportation for International Referees under Local Quota. For Open events, international transportation for International Referees under Local Quota should be paid by the International Referees National Federation. 11. Press Costs related to the press center personnel (including the Press Director and the Photographer if the FIVB official ones are not assigned), press facilities, interview room, and the set-up of suitable conditions for journalists to perform their duties; Set up of equipment for use in the press center at the venue (e.g. telephone, fax, wireless high speed internet access, internet charges for communication and transmission of press releases by the FIVB Media Operations Delegate, etc.); Costs related to the set up and running of at least two (pre) event press conferences; Signature of the agreement related to the photographer s rights and the types of pictures to be provided; Collection of digital pictures at the end of each day, printing and developing of photographic material, collation and dispatch of press clippings for the media report to be sent to the FIVB; Set up and maintenance of a website dedicated to the event for a certain duration; Communication and transmission activities; Elaboration of the Event Press Kit; Accreditation of media and invitation of journalists; Media Operations Delegate whenever required by the FIVB; On site catering for all accredited journalists (at least sandwiches and drinks); Set up of a staffed Press lounge with refreshments. Marketing and Equipment Implementation of an effective Marketing Plan (previously approved by the FIVB) incl. (website, TV campaign, radio advertisements, press conferences, etc.); Production costs of promotional materials as per FIVB Branding Kit (e.g. posters, flyers, official programs, billboards, tickets, accreditation cards, etc.); Production costs of all venue branding and look as per FIVB Branding Kit (FIVB and local sponsors); Production costs for outside courts scoreboards, platforms for TV cameras, participating countries flags, promotional material, sponsor s flags, commentary positions, etc.; For FIVB World Championships and FIVB World Tour Grand Slam, costs related to shipment, customs and taxes for athlete, organization staff and court personnel uniforms supplied by the FIVB; For FIVB Open events, production and branding costs of the uniforms for organization staff and court personnel; 2 35 ORGANIZERS FIVB PARTICIPATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Hospitality and Protocol Requirements Creation of VIP hospitality package(s) (including First Class tickets, accreditation, catering, parking, side events, merchandising, hotel (if required) and other benefits) is recommended; Personnel to take care of VIPs, possibly with the provision of a catering service; Special Guests (World/Sponsors/Stars) for semifinals and finals presented to the TV, the public and the press as tournament personalities; A hospitality zone for sponsors and press, with easy access to reserved areas on the stands. VIP accreditations and First Class Tickets for the FIVB and FIVB Partners as per the Exploitation Rights plan set out in the FIVB- NF/Promoter Agreement. 15. Broadcasting Appointment of a Host TV Broadcaster and signature of FIVB-Host TV Broadcaster Agreement (Appendix E); If not provided by the Host TV Broadcaster, appointment of a TV production company to fulfill the TV production requirements listed in Appendix E; TV Broadcasting Intentions (e.g. to provide the basic feed in High Definition (HD), the minimum broadcast, etc.); Availability of an ENG Crew as indicated in Appendix E (if and when required); TV Coverage and Post Match Coverage; Commentary Cabins (equipment), TV Office, TV Camera (incl. platforms) and layout of microphone positions; TV Program Rundown, shadow/lighting, booking procedure, list of screens, list of participating teams, briefing, recording, shipment of tapes; TV Broadcasting report and TV data. 16. Medical Controls and First Aid Area Medical expenses covering the medical controls, medical services, first aid area and physiotherapy services; Medical personnel and assistance (including ambulance) at all court locations for events with more than 1 venue; Compliance with the Medical checklist requirements; Equipment for alcohol testing. 17. Event s Regulations and Participation Costs related to the room, equipment and personnel required for the organization of the Preliminary Inquiry and the Technical Meeting (Qualification Tournament and Main Draw); Costs related to the room, equipment and personnel requirements for the organization of the Referee Clinic; Costs related to the hardware and personnel required to run the Beach Volleyball Information System during the event; In case an extra clinic day is required, organization costs related to the room, equipment and personnel, as well as any other organizational costs. 18. Accreditation and Security Security plan for all days of the event (at the hotel, the venue, parking, village, etc.); Administrative costs for security staff; Accreditation plan, system, area and cards. 19. Taxes The Promoter is to assume sole responsibility and pay for all taxes and duties according to the national tax law related to all eventrelated activities, including advertising and importation of goods required for the event; 20. Others Electricity, water, hostesses, furniture, air conditioning, office equipment (fax, computers, stationery, etc.), beverages, snacks, communication equipment such as Walkie-Talkies, signage, toilets, decoration such as plants, carpets, etc., rototiller machines, mobiles, translator(s), accreditations. B. Promoter s Income and Benefits The following rights and benefits belong to the Promoter of the country hosting an FIVB Beach Volleyball event (FIVB World Championships (Senior and Underage), FIVB Grand Slam, and FIVB Open): Guaranteed worldwide promotion through the FIVB & FIVB partners; 36

11 Guaranteed participation of the world s top ranked men s and women s teams in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships; Guaranteed participation of a large number of top ranked teams for FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slam events; Long-term exclusive (or non-exclusive) partnerships with the FIVB; Worldwide large media, new media and TV exposure provided by the FIVB through live and live-delayed broadcasting, news and dedicated highlights programs. The FIVB can provide the Promoter with a customized TV package with the inclusion of the sponsors logo and/or the event s logo; Exploitation rights and exclusive use of the Promoter s sponsorship categories; Main Partner(s) and presenting sponsor rights, e.g. Grand Slam presented by Nokia. Possibility of developing a tournament title/logo with the FIVB s approval. Use of a visual in all communications, billboards, backdrops etc.; 100 % of sales of hospitality packages; 100% of private and governmental contributions and subsidies, 100% of national broadcasting rights sales; 100% of ticketing (VIP and First Class); Exclusive right to appoint local sponsors and to retain all fees related to sponsorship agreements; Exclusive rights for onsite sales of FIVB and sponsors merchandise; Commercial rights for on-court advertising exposure, onsite events, printed materials, etc.; Dates in the calendar, if possible, that do not clash with any other major continental or intercontinental events. Use of services and materials supplied by FIVB Suppliers (i.e. balls, nets, net system for the center court and uniforms (if applicable); Use of a common visual identity for all branding items listed in the FIVB-NF/Promoter Agreement Appendix Exploitation rights, branding kit and the Marketing chapter of the Handbook; BVIS results system for the prompt distribution of participating team lists, ranking, results, etc.; Advertising space on the upper and lower net bands for the local sponsors; Organization of kids camps and environmental and development programs; Public access announcements; Scoreboard publicity; On site entertainment; Benefits from international sponsors programs in terms of materials, services, promotions, etc.; Use of the marks in the promotion of the event upon obtaining previous approval of the FIVB; The right to sell merchandising at the venue (not including FIVB marks). Any Promoter wishing to sell sportswear merchandising must only sell products not included in the list of items blocked by the FIVB; The right to sell official event programs on site during the event; The right to sell official FIVB merchandise (if any) on site; Commercialization rights for national sales of on-court advertising space, on site events, printed materials and hospitality programs within the Promoters product categories; On site composite signage (e.g. panels for local sponsors, flags, outside court scoreboards, inflatables, accreditation cards, advertising space on uniforms, stadium entrances, billboards and backdrops, referee chair padding, awarding ceremony podiums, panels on side courts, umbrellas, venue signage, etc.); Tournament title inclusion on the FIVB website, official tournament program cover, advertising pages in official tournament program, official tournament poster, promotional materials, press releases, etc.; Trade village and POS provided for local sponsors. C. National Federation s Responsibilities and Expenses 1. General Provision to the Promoter of all necessary documentation and information needed to carry out the relevant duties; Check that the overall terms and conditions are properly implemented and that the deadlines of the master plan are respected; Costs related to the payment of any penalty fees related to cancellation of an event for reasons other than force majeure if the FIVB is unable to obtain payment from the Promoter; Issue adequate insurance covering all its registered athletes for any eventual injuries and/or other health problems that may arise during the season; Provision of an organizational chart to facilitate the coordination of activities between all parties (FIVB-NF-Promoter) to aid the smooth running of the event; Participation of 1 (one) Delegate in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Council and/or FIVB Beach Volleyball Council meeting (s) in Lausanne and payment of costs related to the international/ local travel as well as board and lodging; Signature of the FIVB-NF/Promoter Agreement. 2. Event s Regulations and Participation Management of competition regulation, including entry of host country teams, Wild Card requests, withdrawals, etc.; Optimization of the competition format and schedule, match format, competition and court program; Accreditation of team coaches and Physical Therapists upon FIVB approval; Implementation of the Official Beach Volleyball rules of the Game, specific regulations, drafted event s regulations, sanctions, etc.; Mailing of the Confirmed lists, the Invitation letter and the approved Event s Regulations (BVB/06) to the parties concerned (-1 month for FIVB World Championships, -21 days for FIVB World Tour Grand Slam and FIVB Open events); Implementation of National team programs; Organization of all required doping control procedures in accordance with the FIVB medical regulations; Planning of the official match format/schedule in accordance with the FIVB competition regulations and in coordination with the FIVB, the Promoter and the Host TV Broadcaster; The FIVB and Organizers must agree on the competition schedule including the exact number of courts, match duration and, for double gender events, whether the competition schedule will be staggered or parallel. 3. Equipment Administrative expenses for the necessary office equipment to run a Beach Volleyball Department. 4. Publication and Promotion Costs related to the operational and promotional support for the event through the Beach Volleyball and Press department; Development at the beginning of the season of athlete biographies containing personal information on each individual national Beach Volleyball athlete. These biographies need to be sent to the FIVB and should be included in the press kit (only top ranked athletes). 5. National Officials Appointment of a National Federation Vice-President or NF Executive member as the person responsible for all Beach Volleyball strategic matters; 2 37 ORGANIZERS FIVB PARTICIPATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

12 Main Draw Technical Meeting Selection and training of the host country referees, auxiliary referee personnel and court personnel; Participating National Federations are to provide the FIVB with a list of available International Referees and Candidates for International Referee assignments under the Local Quota; Costs related to the nomination of a National Beach Volleyball Coordinator and the set up of a council to develop Beach Volleyball programs accordingly; Appointment of a Referee Manager responsible for all local referee matters. All Referee Managers must be able to speak English or, if this is not the case, a translator must be provided. Appointment of the most experienced Competition Manager, Technical Manager, line judges and scorers; Costs related to the provision of the necessary event-related services, including the staff, if the promoter is unable to fulfill the terms of the agreement. 6. Other National Federation s Responsibilities: For FIVB Open events, if an International Referee or Candidate is assigned under the Local Quota, the international travel costs are paid for by the International Referee s National Federation; For FIVB Open events, if an International Referee or Candidate is assigned under the Local Quota, the Per Diem and Travel Allowance in the same amount as for International Referees assigned under Neutral quota costs are paid for by the International Referee s National Federation as per the following National Federation scale: To ensure that the Promoter or other companies do not organize any other international sports events at the same venue as the FIVB Beach Volleyball event from one (1) month before and until fifteen (15) days after the event; Not to include the event in any cultural, commercial or multi-sport event - the inclusion of the FIVB Beach Volleyball event(s) in a multi-sports event is only permitted if it is held 30 days before or 15 days after the other sport events; To provide all necessary event-related services, including staff, if the promoter is unable to provide such services; To stage a National Tour or National Championships as a mandatory program ideally before the FIVB Beach Volleyball event. D. National Federation s Income Fees related to all event-related sport responsibilities (e.g. Competition Manager, Referee Manager, Referees, etc.); A sanction fee not exceeding 10% of the FIVB Beach Volleyball event s license fee; All income listed in point B if the National Volleyball Federation acts as a Promoter. Prize Money and Bonus Pool Allocation of FIVB Bonus Pool; Payment of the Prize Money and FIVB Bonus Pool to the eligible athletes; Outside courts in Rome, Italy 2.5 FIVB Obligations and Budget The following points represent the FIVB s major responsibilities, expenses and income related to the promotion of the FIVB Beach Volleyball events. A. FIVB s Responsibilities and Expenses 1. General Beach Volleyball Department administrative expenses and staff salaries; Realization and mailing of the FIVB Terms and Conditions for staging an FIVB Beach Volleyball event and realization of the FIVB- NF/Promoter Agreement; Tentative Calendars for the next seasons and confirmation of the FIVB Beach Volleyball Calendar; Assignment of all FIVB Officials and FIVB Delegates for the FIVB Beach Volleyball events (Technical Supervisor, Referee Delegate, Media Operations Delegate, Medical Delegate (drug test schedule) (whenever applicable), Photographer (whenever applicable), TV Coordinator, Marketing Delegate (if any), International Referees under Neutral and Local Quotas, Highlights Crew and English TV Commentator(s)); Organization of Technical Supervisors and Referee Delegates seminars, clinics and workshops, whenever required by the FIVB. Organization of a workshop for Press Directors at the FIVB headquarters in Lausanne; Organization of a workshop for Organizers at the FIVB headquarters; Organization of a Host TV Broadcaster meeting at the FIVB headquarters in Lausanne; Payment of any expenses related to the organization of the Beach Volleyball Councils and the Beach Volleyball Commission; Guaranteed participation of the world s best men s and women s teams at the FIVB World Championships and FIVB World Tour Grand Slam events; Issue of sanctions to Organizers, Athletes, etc.; Receipt of final reports from FIVB Officials, Delegates and Consultants and realization of the overall final report (BVB/35) for each FIVB Beach Volleyball event; Coordination of actions between parties related to the correct implementation of the master plan; To do its utmost to give awards to Promoters for achievements, such as Best Promoter, Best Venue, Best Staff, Best Entertainment program, Best TV Production, Best Media Coverage, etc. during the end of season Gala or Festival event. 3. Inspection Visit International travel expenses (economy class), meals and accommodation for the FIVB Delegate 2/3 months before each event for the annual Technical inspection visit, when requested by the FIVB, and only if a TV inspection visit paid by the Promoter is also carried out; For Organizers staging an FIVB Beach Volleyball event for the first time or that experienced major problems during their event the previous year or whenever deemed necessary (e.g. same Promoter organizing an event in a new location, tournament viewed as unsatisfactory), the FIVB may designate either an FIVB Technical Supervisor or the FIVB Beach Volleyball Events Director to carry out an annual inspection visit two/three months before the start of the event in order to follow up on all Master Plan items. This Technical inspection visit should be combined with the TV inspection visit if possible to enable the correct interpretation and adoption of all FIVB Handbook regulations (e.g. marketing issues, venue set up, etc.). Members of the Organizational Chart must attend the annual inspection visit to check the progress of the organization of the event in their respective areas, according to the FIVB Regulations. 4. International Transportation Coordination and payment of all International transportation for the FIVB President and FIVB Beach Volleyball Events Director (if required); Coordination of athletes travel schedules to the next events in the calendar; Travel expenses for Members of the Beach Volleyball Commission for the FIVB Beach Volleyball Councils and the FIVB Beach Volleyball Commission; International travel expenses of the FIVB Photographer (not including Open events) and English TV Commentator; Travel expenses related to the participation of FIVB Delegates, Consultants and first Delegate of each Confederation at the FIVB Officials seminar. 5. Personnel The FIVB and its Officials supervise and participate in the organization of the events and ensure that the event Organizers deliver world class conditions to sponsors, media, participants, etc.; The FIVB assigns the best fitting Officials and FIVB Delegates to ensure the smooth running of the event. Note: The FIVB, the FIVB Officials, the Organizing Committee and Officials from the host National Federation must work closely to ensure the smooth running of each event. 6. Per Diem and Travel Allowance Coordination and payment of service fees to FIVB Officials within 30 days upon receipt of the relevant final reports as follows: A per diem of CHF 225 (from the first day to the last day of duties) to the Technical Supervisor, the Referee Delegate, the Media Operations Delegate, the Marketing Delegate, the Medical Delegate (if any) and the FIVB Photographer (if any); A per diem of CHF 125 (from the first day to the last day of duties) to the Assistant Referee Delegate and International Referees under Neutral quota; A per diem of CHF 125 (from the first day to the last day of duties) to the International Referees under Local Quota for FIVB World Championships and FIVB World Tour Grand Slam events; The % of the per diem as indicated at point 6 above, page 38 (from the first day to the last day of the duties) to the International Referees under Local Quota for FIVB Open events; A travel allowance of CHF 200 to all the above officials, covering the day before and the day after their mission for travel expenses (trains, buses, taxis, visas, etc.); Service fee to the English TV Commentators as per agreement with the FIVB TV Agency; Per Diem for Members of the Beach Volleyball Commission for attendance at the Beach Volleyball Councils and the Beach Volleyball Commission; 2 ORGANIZERS FIVB PARTICIPATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Board and Lodging Board and lodging expenses for one FIVB Highlights Producer (paid by the Highlight company concerned); Board and lodging expenses for one English TV Commentator (paid by the FIVB); Inspection of the rooms and food at the events by the Technical Supervisor; Board and lodging for Members of the Beach Volleyball Commission during the Beach Volleyball Councils and the Beach Volleyball Commission; Board and lodging expense for FIVB Delegates, Consultants and first Delegate of each Confederation during the FIVB Officials seminar. 8. Press Global international press exposure; Seasonal kick-off conference and/or other Press Conferences if agreed between all FIVB partners; Invitation of journalists to attend major FIVB Beach Volleyball events; Elaboration of the Master Plan and FIVB Press Kit; Distribution of press releases and Daily Bulletins to the FIVB media list through the FIVB Media Operations Delegate. The schedule for the next day s competition must be posted in the Daily Bulletin no later than 1 hour after the end of the last game. This schedule will be available in sufficient quantities at the hotel lobby. Update of the FIVB website. 9. Marketing and Equipment Confirmation of FIVB Partners reserved categories; Use of the exploitation rights of the FIVB reserved categories; FIVB dedicated FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, FIVB World Tour Grand Slam and FIVB Open website; Production of the Branding Kit (featuring the visual and associated layouts such as backdrops, billboards, letterhead, etc.) available through a dedicated online link; FIVB approval of the marketing/branding items and cost of FIVB Partners/Suppliers branding (panels, flags, etc.); Provision of scoreboards for each event (if any); Provision of certain quantities of Merooj uniforms (player s tops and referees uniforms); Shipment of official Merooj uniforms; Provision through Jinling of net, antennae, posts, post pads, post bases and referee chair for the center court of each FIVB Beach Volleyball event; Provision through Mikasa of sufficient quantities of VLS 300 balls for each FIVB Beach Volleyball event; Shipment of medals/awards to each competition; Printing of the FIVB World Tour Grand Slam/FIVB World Championships/FIVB Open title logo on all official Merooj uniforms, with the exception of the FIVB Officials and Delegates uniforms (only FIVB logo). 10. Publication and Promotion Promotional activities of all FIVB Partners; Display of live scoring on the FIVB website for competitions (whenever available); Environmental and Development Program (costs related to the promotion of the ECO Flag Project); Realization, publication and distribution of the FIVB Handbook to the parties concerned; Compilation and publication of the Official Beach Volleyball Rules of the Game, Referee Manuals, Press Kit, Media Guide and FIVB Beach Volleyball events final reports; Creation of BVIS software for use when updating results, the FIVB World Ranking, competition schedules, etc.; Organization of Gala and distribution of awards to the parties concerned; Production of the FIVB flags, medals, etc.; Free access to videos, pictures and athletes biographies in the FIVB archives; The master plan: a crucial tool!
