3 Small town police departments have to fight the same criminal elements as do major metropolitan area departments. But they often lack the latest in crime fighting equipment. The Blueline Foundation is designed to help these smaller departments lueline battle crime in their areas. The Blueline Foundation is dedicated to protecting law enforcement with the proper equipment and latest technology. Blueline assists departments that represent communities with people or less.

5 Blueline leaders understand the real value of smaller departments to the overall fight against crime. The efforts of smaller departments to better patrol Small departments make a big difference. their neighborhoods and have a keen understanding of the families who they protect often leads to crime prevention. It is true that small police departments often have an advantage over their metropolitan forces next door. The stronger the smaller departments the better crime fighting is overall.

7 100% of the funds go directly to The Blueline Foundation. This foundation is not associated with any other organizations, and the proceeds go exclusively to the management of the foundation and to the police forces across the country that earn Blueline Foundation grants for better equipment, training, communications, research and more.

9 Left: In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Dan Aykroyd came to the rescue of a small town police department in Southeast Louisiana. He saw first hand the need of smaller police forces in the midst of a catastrophe. It was then that Dan decided to form The Blueline Foundation and lend a big helping hand to small departments across America How can you save a life? Take a stance. 10 A Message from Dan All across our country, brave men and women put themselves on the line to protect us from the wrath of violent criminals. In the small towns and communities across our United States, the police teams are often challenged by a lack of equipment, manpower, training and more. I have formed this foundation to begin making a difference in the life of today s police officer who works on a small town force. I hope you will consider contributing to this very important effort. 11 The men on the line. The leaders behind Blueline. DAN AYKROYD studied political science and criminal sociology in college. He has been an ardent support of law enforcement throughout his career. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina devastated parts of Louisiana and Mississippi, Dan founded the Blueline Foundation to help small police departments better fund some of their most critical needs. JIM BELUSHI is an actor, comedian, and musician whose friendship with Dan dates back to old SNL days. In 2003, Jim and Dan released the album Have Love, Will Travel, and participated in an accompanying tour. Jim also joins an updated version of The Blues Brothers as Zee Blues. He is a supporter of Dan s vision to help police departments across the country battle crime. PETER DALE, a former small town Chief of Police, served as Chairman of the Louisiana Chiefs of Police Association. Peter chose to commission Dan when he realized his passion for law enforcement and his willingness to help small departments find the necessary funding to take on today s criminal. Peter recently retired as Chief, and operates his own security company.
