2 Race Vision The vision for the RyanMan foundation is to bring together the regional community of multisport athletes to support the battle against childhood cancer. The vision and support for the RyanMan foundation will continue to grow with the increasing community of multi-sport athletes and their supporters in Mississippi. RyanMan triathlon continues to be the premiere long-distance race in MS as well as a destination race for athletes outside the metro Jackson area. As a sponsor your company will not only be prominently displayed in the only long-distance triathlon in Mississippi, you will also be supporting the states only children s hospital. Foundation Mission The RyanMan Foundation was founded in 2014 with the mission to improve the quality of life for children and their family as they continue the fight against childhood cancer within the State of Mississippi. The foundation was established in honor of Ryan LaSource, who at the time had been battling Leukemia since 6-months of age. Sadly, Ryan lost his battle at the age of 3 on June 3, The RyanMan Foundation continues in his memory, is committed to supporting this fight, and organizes the RyanMan Triathlon as one platform for raising money to support this mission. In 2017, the foundation donated $30,000 to Batson s Children s Hospital, bringing the total donated to $82,000. For 2018 the beneficiary of the race will once again be Batson Children s Hospital. With your help, 2018 will be a bigger and better year!

3 Event Information Name: The RyanMan Half Distance Triathlon Date: Sunday October 7, 2018 Location: Lakeshore Park, Brandon, MS Participants: We anticipate nearly 400 athletes to compete in the triathlon. To support the event we will include more than 500 volunteers. With each athlete bringing on average 2.5 spectators with them, the total number of people attending the event will be around Charitable Involvement: The majority of the proceeds generated from this event will benefit Batson Children s Hospital, to improve the quality of life of children and their family as they battle childhood cancer. Synopsis: The race will start in Lakeshore Park and consist of three legs: 1.2 mile swim in the Ross R Barnett Reservoir, a 56 mile bike, and a 13.1 mile run traversing Rankin County, Mississippi. This combination provides the longest triathlon in Mississippi. The race will host six divisions: age-group male, age-group female, male relay, female relay, mixed relay teams, and para-triathlete. Awards will be given for the top 5 overall men, top 5 overall females, top 3 in all age groups, and first place in each relay division.

This race will be the Your Company RyanMan Half Distance Triathlon. Individual Course Sponsor - $5,000 Swim / Bike / Run The course you choose to sponsor will be branded as the Your Company course. Your company s logo will be located on all signage and course maps. Swim course sponsored by Riverhills Bank, bike course sponsored by Farm Bureau, and run course sponsored by Fleet Feet Sports. SPONSORED Designated Zone - $2500 Several zones available for sponsorship: Race headquarter / beer garden / grand stands, Transition Area, Athlete s Food Tent, Medical Tent, and Parking Area. As a zone sponsor your logo will be prominently displayed within that area, displayed on the RyanMan home page, and official race shirts. Gold - $2000 As a gold level sponsor your logo will be prominently displayed on the RyanMan home page and official race shirts. Silver - $1000 As a silver level sponsor your logo will be displayed on the RyanMan website as well as the race finish line.
