Our progression walks are harder and longer in duration, over 90 minutes or more. Many of our walks are possible thanks to the dedication and hard work of our volunteer walk leaders. It would greatly help our walk leaders if anyone new to the walk can arrive 20 minutes before the start time, (15 minutes for regular participants) to enable them to complete registration and start the walks on time. Cotwall End Valley Monthly health walk Cotwall End Valley Local Nature Reserve offers unspoilt woodland, meadows, pools and streams and is home to a variety of wildlife. DATES: Third Saturday of every month (18 April, 16 May, 20 June, 18 July, 15 August and 19 September). 9 Himley Hall and Park Weekly health walk and monthly progression walk A walk over park and woodland taking in the history and beauty of Himley Hall and Park and Baggeridge Country Park. DAY: Tuesday TIME: 9.45am for a prompt 10am start MEETING POINT: Car park adjacent to the golf club car park (not the golf club car park), Himley Hall and Park, Himley Road, Dudley DY3 4DF INTENSITY: Easy to moderate. Slight climbs over a mixed terrain are included. WALK LEADERS: Michael Murphy, Mike Ball, Phil Mitchell, Maggie Squire and Graham Smith ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: There is a small charge for parking at Himley. Occasional stiles, steep inclines and a variety of underfoot slips and trips will need to be negotiated. Appropriate footwear advisable. Weekly progression walk DAY: Thursday TIME: 9.45am for a prompt 10am start. Walkers new to this group should register at 9.40am to enable timely completion of brief induction. HUNTINGTREE MONTHLY TRAIL WALK FROM THE NIMMINGS NATIONAL TRUST SITE, CLENT HILLS Clent Hills Pathfinder Trails - A series of brisk, 1½ - 2 ½ hour walks in and around the ups and downs of the Clent Hills. Please bring a drink. DATES: On the first Thursday of each month, April to September inclusive and in place of the Huntingtree regular weekly trail.
