1 COACHES EDUCATION TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT E -NEWSLETTER MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2017 AFC C LICENCE COACHING COURSE FAS Technical Director Michel Sablon kicked off the eight-day course by sharing the FAS development philosophies with the participants, bringing them on board with the plans the Association has for the players and coaches. Ex-National Team players Aleksandar Duric and T.Pathmanathan, currently the Principal and Senior Manager of the ActiveSG Football Academy respectively, were also present at the opening and were highly supportive of the initiative to have the National Team players attend the course. 2 The CPR and AED courses are typically held every year to ensure that our Technical staff are well equipped to manage any emergencies that come their way during training sessions and tournaments NFA Coaches, JCOE and Cubs Coaches undergoing a First Aid, CPR and AED Course conducted at the Jalan Besar Stadium

5 JOCKEY CLUB INTERNATIONAL YOUTH INVITATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT The NFA U-15 and U-18 Team will be participating in the above tournament scheduled from 17 to 19 March. The tournament will feature the likes of Hong Kong, Chinese Taipei, Thailand and Qatar.

11 Rydalmere Lions FC embarked on a special pre-season trip to Singapore on the 6th of February to partake in three friendly matches against Geylang United s senior and reserve teams as well as the Singapore Under 23 s side. The tour commenced on the 6th of February with matches organised against Geylang s reserve team on the 7th followed by the clash against the senior side who were involved in last season s AFC Asian Champions League on the 9th before finishing up with a match against the Under 23 s of Singapore on the 11 th of February. 12 The SEA Games U-22 Team commenced their SEA Games campaign by playing an international friendly against the Myanmar on Sunday, 19 February in Yangon at the Thuwunna Stadium. The team came away with a 3-1 won over the Myanmar U-22 Team OUR FIRST 11 s vs. Myanmar U-22 Team Bringing the game to our Myanmar count

13 A Joint effort between SportSG and the Football Association Of Singapore to recognise the achievements and dedication of the Cerebral Palsy Football Team Head Of SportSG Football Academy and Former National player Aleksandar Duric with the Cerebral Palsy Football Team gracing the Great Eastern Community Shield Football match between Albirex Niigata FC and Tampines Rovers FC
