1 Penn FC GAME NOTES Match Info: Last Time Out... Penn FC earned a 1-1 draw in its home opener. Ken Tribbett scored a bicycle kick in the 89th minute to extend Penn FC s unbeaten streak to three matches. The team sold out on offense after conceding a 77th minute goal to Ataulla Guerra. The plan worked as Mauro Eustaquio crossed a failed clearance back into the Charleston box and on to the waiting foot of Tribbett. Romu Peiser was called into service throughout the match. The goalkeeper snagged four saves including one that he caught between his legs on the goal line. His only conceded goal came on the one-on-one match up with Guerra after Guerra beat the back line to a through ball. Penn FC s offensive output against Charleston improved compared to its last match against Charleston back in March. The team was without Tommy Heinemann and struggled in the first half as it adjusted to Heinemann s absence. The Blue and White rebounded in the second half, doubling its shots and tripling its corner kick opportunities. What to watch for... Nashville SC is a difficult team to score on thanks to its goal keeper, Matt Pickens. Pickens ranks tied for second in the USL with three clean sheets, and he ranks tied for 10th in the USL with 14 saves. However, against Indy Eleven, Nashville gave up the go-ahead goal from a long ball. Soony Saad scored the first goal of his brace from a service near midfield. Penn FC proved it could create similar chances using long ball passes after Dan Metzger earned a hockey assist from midfield on Tommy Heinemann s goal against Atlanta United II. Metzger rainbowed the ball to the top of the ATL UTD II box and Richard Menjivar deflected the ball to Heinemann.
