I am excited to be participating in the Relay where I can make a difference and insure we are honoring the Survivors and Caregivers. I would like to ask you to invite any Survivors or Caregivers that you know to the Kick-Off on October 19th. We have a great program planned for them to enjoy. I am also putting a challenge out to the teams. For the person that gives us the most names of Survivors/ Caregivers by November 19th, there will be a prize. Please send me names at: lrodriguez@tampabay.rr.com. Our goal is to get at least 200 Survivors to the Relay so everyone s help is needed. 2 Committee Reports Report From The Entertainment Front Right now we have some local youth bands that are willing to perform, but we need many more. The idea is that we want to have a different performer every hour. We are in need of available acts to perform for free throughout the night. We want to be able to stretch into any realm of entertainment possible (Comedians, magicians, bands, solo acts, etc.). So if you have friends that are willing to perform, please contact Josh Sall at sall.joshua@gmail.com or through my cell phone (please note the area code is correct). Join Us for a Bite to Eat Relay for Life of Trinity Tuesday, October 26th 5-7pm McDonald's Night US 19 Holiday Call Marina McLoone for details Cleaning For a Reason If you know any woman currently undergoing Cancer treatment, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides free housecleaning 1 time per month for 4 months while she is in treatment. All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. Please pass this information on to bless a woman going through any type of Cancer treatment. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It s our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people there who care. Be a blessing to someone and pass the information along.
