2 Celebrating Student Success Seven teams of BT students traveled to Orlando on Saturday, February 25 for the regional Odyssey of the Mind competition. All teams competed in Long Term and Spontaneous creative problem solving. The following students participated: 3rd Grade-Ben Cretul, Dylan DeSantis, Trey Northey, Kylie Thornell, Kylie Peeples, Julia Schwartz, Katherine Toone, Palmer Pendleton, Finn Walsh, Landon Lewis, Chloe Klinker, Karina Santa, Bailee Tolliver-Baldock, Sebastian Clemente. 4th Grade-Alexandra Laciuga, Kaylie Santa, Mckenzie Pereira, Dylan Temple, John O'Donnell, Joseph, Thompson, Gabriel Serrano, Brayden Jarrell, Dylan Des Jardins. 5th Grade-Connor Williams, Riley Brennan, Janelle Gonzalez, Madison Hodges, Peyton Brennan, Asher Scudder, Aiden Morey. 7th Grade-Bryce Smith, Jack Kinder, Jenny Blasko, JD Ayson, Victor El-Jassous, Mathias Tanangkingsing. Two teams took First Place and advance to the State Competition on April 8. They are: 6th Grade-Hunter Temple, Brayden Wolgast, Jonah Wolgast, Mary Carolina Fuerte, Isabella Serrano, Brady Schwartz. 7/8th Grade-Isabella Chancery, Patrick Laciuga, Annamaria Condon, Alexandra Laciuga, Tyler Shively, Kaelin Des Jardins. Participation in Odyssey of the Mind would not be possible without the support of many volunteers. Volunteers will be needed the evening of Friday, March 24th and the morning of Saturday, March 25th at the Hilton. Red and White Teacher Experiences Our teacher experiences are filling up fast! Each experience is down to 2-3 spots left. Please be sure to send in the form and payment to reserve a spot! Collecting First Communion Clothes Are you able to help parents struggling with the cost of First Communion clothes? 4 8 th Grade Parents Baby Pictures Needed Thank you to all the parents who have submitted their child s baby photo for the Graduation Slide Presentation. We are still waiting for photos from the following students: Robert Fox Amelia LaValle Valerie Lorenzo Tanner Mims Francisco Tirado Box Top Easter Collection Box tops are due by April 13 th. Class goals are 400 for kindergarten and 500 for 1 st 8 th grades. Please continue to help support this important school fundraiser! Thank you. Talent Show Audition Forms Available Pick up yours in the Stewardship Center, the Church Office, or the School Office, fill it out, and return it to Mrs. Cook ASAP! Looking forward to sharing your talents! Athletics Fall and Spring Athletic Pictures will be held on Wednesday March 22 after school in the gym. This includes both JV and Varsity Cheerleading, JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball, as well as JV and Varsity Girls and Boys Track. All team members are expected to attend. Photos should take approximately 10 minutes per team. Plan for 3:00 pickup in the gym. WE WILL WEAR FULL ATHLETIC GAME OR COMPETITION UNIFORM (INCLUDING ATHLETIC SCHOES) FOR THE PHOTO. Please bring all parts of the uniform. Immediately following the team photo, all team members will turn in their full athletic uniform to Coach Starling. Booster Basketball Booster Basketball team are being finalized today and distributed to the coaches. The first practice will be held the week after Spring Break. Parents should receive a call from their child s coach this weekend with all pertinent information.

5 The Leader in Me Synergy is achieved when two or more people work together to create a better solution than either could alone. It s not your way or my way but a better way.
