1 REBELS AUTO CLUB NEWSLETTER May 2011 President s Message I am writing to you from Fredrick, MD. I am visiting my son and his family at Ft. Detrick. We are enjoying my new grandson, Paxton, and our other grandson Tyler. We were greeted at the gate with a high security alert yesterday. It was later revealed that Osama Bin Laden was killed by our Navy Seals. A lot of celebrating going on in this part of the country. Let's keep all of our military personnel in our thoughts and prayers. We've lost two more Rebels this past month.a Larry Wentink and Marv Richie will be remembered by many of us for their contributions to the Rebels. This will be a busy month for the Rebels. Car shows and Show 'n Shines will be starting up. We will end the month with a sock hop at Jim's shop during the Hot Rod Supernationals. Get those cars out and shine them up. This is the event to show how many cars we have to represent the Rebels. Watch the newsletter and our Coordinator s report for upcoming event dates. Hope to see you all on the road soon. This year s car show is sponsored by Larry and Stacy in remembrance of Josh. Now with Larry watching over us, let s have the Biggest and Best Car Show yet.
