1 Central Academy of Technology and Arts 1 Central Academy of Technology and Arts Cougar Chronicle Central Academy Families A very special shout out to all of the fans that came out last week to support our athletic teams. In particular I would like to commend the Blue Crew, our student section, for showing up and cheering on your Cougars. Although we did not win last Friday night, we watched our athletes play tough and they had the full support of our fans. Great job to all. Overall we are doing very well athletically and if you have not come out to a game yet, we hope that you will do so soon. Concessions, with hot food options, are available at volleyball, football, and soccer games. Parking passes for football games are still available on the Central Academy website. This week we are hosting home events Monday through Thursday. Be sure to read the Cougar Chronicle for the most up to date times. The sale deadline for Yearbooks has been extended to September 13th. Families will have the opportunity to visit with teachers after our short PTSO meeting and welcome in the auditorium. Teachers will not be in classrooms until after we finish in the auditorium. We look forward to welcoming each of you on Tuesday. This past week CATA students in the Environmental Club participated in a Veggie Fest to celebrate local farming. You can read more about that in the Chronicle. Our Cougar Cheerleaders were named the Bob Mayberry Cheer Team of the week. Congratulations to the team and thank you to Bob Mayberry for sponsoring our school. Please remember to pay your child s $25 technology fee by September 31.
