About the Expo Originally conceived by the late Tom Helgeson, the Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo has been a fixture of the Upper Midwest fly fishing community for the past 14 years.

2 About the Expo Originally conceived by the late Tom Helgeson, the Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo has been a fixture of the Upper Midwest fly fishing community for the past 14 years. The mission of the expo has always been to draw the community together to celebrate fly fishing and conserve our local waters. The event features a strong emphasis on programming from a wide variety of speakers on topics ranging from fly fishing techniques to resource conservation in both warm and cold water. In 2017, the expo featured over 30 individual speakers from around the region and across the country. Our exhibitors typically include fly fishing and outdoor gear companies, conservation organizations, artists, fly fishing groups, and authors. The expo strives to introduce youth and families to fly fishing, conservation and land stewardship through targeted programming during the event. All girl scouts and boy scouts and youth under the age of 12 are admitted free to the expo to encourage involvement Minnesota Trout Unlimited, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, began management of the expo in fall 2015 and continues with the same conservation-themed goal of the event. Minnesota Trout Unlimited s core mission is to conserve, protect, restore and sustain Minnesota s cold water fisheries and their watersheds. Proceeds from the event help support this mission.

3 Sponsorship Packages Premier Sponsor - $5000 Level Largest programming room named after your company. This room holds over 300 attendees and will host programming throughout all three days of the event. Rooms will be listed on the expo program and on the program schedule on our website. Sponsor logo on the front page of the expo website. 1 expo booth space for promotion or sales. Total size of 8 x10, $550 value. Half-page (8.5 x 11 ) advertisement in Trout Unlimited Minnesota, our official publication with 8,000 copies distributed. Sponsor logo inclusion on print and social media campaigns for the expo. Title Sponsor - $2500 Level Mid-size programming room named after your company. These rooms hold over 75 attendees and will host programming throughout all three days of the event. Rooms will be listed on the expo program and on the program schedule on our website. 1 expo booth space for promotion or sales. Total size 8 x10, $550 value. Quarter-page (8.5 x 5.5 ) advertisement in Trout Unlimited Minnesota, our official publication with 8,000 copies distributed. Event Sponsor - $1000 Level Eighth-page (4.25 x 5.5 ) advertisement in Trout Unlimited Minnesota, our official publication with 8,000 copies distributed.

4 Customize Your Sponsorship We are happy to discuss other potential sponsorship benefits and tailor sponsorship packages to fit your needs. We also offer the opportunity for the sponsors to have merchandise be a component of the charitable fundraising expo activities such as raffles and door-prizes. Please inform us if you are interested in having any large banners or materials outside of booth space so we can plan and accommodate. Our deadline for finalizing sponsorship involvement is January 15th, 2018 in order to include sponsors on print and media materials. Other sponsor logos and web materials should be provided as soon as possible to maximize exposure once your company has committed to sponsorship.
