Clubhouse notes: Women Object!!! The women's team competing in the Thursday night Gin Rummy Game (7 p.m.) have objected (nearly rioted) to the continued publication of the results of the contests. They would prefer that all reporting be discontinued until such time as they might win once. It was pointed out that freedom of the press (even of a barely talented and unprepared press like at the Williamsburg Community) guarantees the right to publish. But in the spirit of getting-along the Chatter has decided NOT to report that once again this past Thursday the men won big. Don't forget that ladies' games night is every Monday night 7:00, and Mahjongg is every Monday at 1:00 p.m. And don't forget ladies' exercise swim every morning at 9:00, Monday through Saturday, when the temperature is above 60. Williamsburg Golf Invitational Date is Set The Williamsburg Golf Invitational 2016 will take place on Saturday, March 5th.

The golfer cost, including golf, dinner, and prizes, is $45. Any one who would like to attend the dinner, but without playing golf, the cost is $15.

Players roll three dice, aiming to obtain a target number. Players gain one point for each die matching the target.

2 Williamsburg Golf Invitational Date is Set The Williamsburg Golf Invitational 2016 will take place on Saturday, March 5th. Tee time is at 1:00 at Miles Grant Community Center at 5101 SE Miles Grant Road, Stuart, Fl There will be a Tournament Dinner Burger Buffet immediately after the tournament is finished. The golfer cost, including golf, dinner, and prizes, is $45. Any one who would like to attend the dinner, but without playing golf, the cost is $15. Please get entrance forms at the clubhouse or contact Art Venditelli (9-205) ( ), or Murph Craig (9-201) ( ), or Dave Harlan (9-104) ( ). Sign up begins at the clubhouse of February 13th at 10: a.m. The final date for sign up is February 27th. We got BUNCO-ed at the clubhouse!!! Wednesday, February 3rd at 6:00 at the Clubhouse was the first night of BUNCO. EVERYONE was invited., and almost everyone showed up! We had to add tables. Players roll three dice, aiming to obtain a target number. Players gain one point for each die matching the target. If the player gets three-of-a-kind of the target number (a Bunco), they get 21 points. The round stops when a player at a table obtains 21 points. Whoever wins the most rounds is the overall winner. Barbara Davies was the big winner with $30. Linda Zurhellen and Janice from Bunker Hill tied for second place, earning $15 a piece. Bring an appetizer or a dessert and $5. Everyone has a chance to win. Next game: Every second Wednesday of the month, promptly at 7:00. Sign up sheet is in the Clubhouse.

5 Just to keep us honest and grateful, the Woodcocks report the weather up in Annapolis, Maryland this past week. Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day in Williamsburg. Don't forget Cherry Pie Day on the 20th.
