The information in this guide is provided to assist you with planning your upcoming trip to New Orleans. 7 Game Day Operations Team Bench The visiting team bench is located on the LaSalle Street (East) side of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Football Tulane will use the NIKE Coaches Communications Equipment Truck Visiting team must provide their own headsets, etc. Tulane and the Mercedes-Benz Superdome will provide the dry pair. Inside Configuration: 24 ft. x 12.6 in. Height: 13ft. Truck parking, loading, and unloading point of contact: Donald Paisant, Chief of Security Work : Donald.paisant@smgneworleans.com Practice Due to the confines of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, The Mercedes-Benz Superdome may or may not be available for a team practice on the day prior to the game. Only TURF SHOES may be worn in The Mercedes-Benz Superdome. To schedule practices at The Mercedes-Benz Superdome, please contact Scott Mitchell, Assistant Athletic Director for Business, and Event Management at In the event the Mercedes-Benz Superdome is unavailable, Tulane will assist with making accommodations at another local facility. Game Uniforms Dressing Room White Helmet, Green Jersey, White Pants The visiting team dressing room is located at the North entrance to the field. The locker room is fully furnished with lockers, chairs, dry-erase boards, treatment tables, taping tables, a mini training room, coaches dressing rooms, restrooms and shower facilities. 7

For practice and on game day, team buses will be allowed access to park at the loading dock to the Superdome (South Entrance off of Girod Street across the street from the New Orleans Arena). This is subject to change, in the event this does change; we will notify you in a timely manner. On game day, band buses will be allowed to unload at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome loading dock. Once the buses have unloaded, they will then be directed to parking Lot #4. Passes for the band buses must be requested with the credential list. Visiting bands will be seated in Section 121. Field access will be granted to visiting team bands at the step unit located at the bottom of Section 14. For official travel party parking needs, please submit a list with your credential list. Please include the number of band buses, vans, VIP (e.g. Director of Athletics), etc. 8

9 Game Day Operations Visitors Pass Gate Credentials Police Escorts Tailgating RV Parking The visitors pass gate is located at Gate A Ground (Poydras Street). Tulane will provide one (1) six foot table with two chairs. Player Guest entrance will open 1 hour prior to scheduled kickoff time. For questions, please contact Justin Jones, Director of Ticket Sales ( ). Tulane does request that your credential list be submitted a week in advance, or no later than the Monday prior to the game. Credentials will be sent via Fed-Ex to the SID for distribution. Tulane will provide the 40 sideline passes per NCAA regulations. Please send list to Roger Dunaway, Assistant AD of Communications at roger@tulane.edu. Please contact Scott Mitchell, Assistant Athletic Director for Business, Game Operations and Event Management for police escort arrangements. Tulane uses the New Orleans Police Department for escorts. Tulane will cover the expenses for the escort from the hotel to the Superdome on game day. In the event the visiting team would like to reserve a space at the Superdome, please contact Shontell Julian, Event Coordinator for SMG at RV parking is available at the Superdome. They will be able to access Lot #4, located in the Southwest quadrant of the Superdome (West side of the Arena). Cost is $50 per RV. Please contact Shontell Julian, Event Coordinator for SMG at General Parking Superdome parking is available in Garages 1, 5 & 6 on game day. Cost is $10 per vehicle. Miscellaneous Chewing gum and sunflower seeds are not allowed on the Superdome turf. 9

10 Game Day Operations Alcoholic Beverage Policy Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the Superdome. Louisiana law prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages to persons under the age of 21. Proper identification must be shown to purchase any alcoholic beverage. Alcohol sales cease at the end of third quarter. ADA Accessibility The Mercedes-Benz Superdome meets all structure re - quirements as stipulated by the American s with Disabilities Act. All levels have elevator access and ADA seating. Re-Entry Smoking For your safety, once a person exits the dome, reentry is strictly prohibited.. The Mercedes-Benz Superdome is a smoke free facility. 10

18 Driving Directions Louisiana Superdome To the Dome From the EAST - Take I-10 to exit 235B/Canal St.-Superdome, (Cleveland Street is closed for construction) take a right on Canal Street and a left on S. Claiborne. Remain in right lane and continue down S. Claiborne and vere to the right Poydras/Superdome exit only. Stay in the left lane and take a right onto Poydras Street. Travel under I-10 (the overpass) and take a right on Clara and a left on Sugar Bowl Drive (Superdome). From the WEST - Take I-10 east to the Louisiana Superdome/Claiborne exit, then turn right. DO NOT TAKE THE POYDRAS EXIT Leaving the Dome To go EAST - Turn left out of garage and follow traffic to I-10 west to Claiborne exit take right to Tulane take right to I-10 east signage.
