Meeting: The meeting commenced at 7:31pm with 25 members in attendance. 2. Treasurer s Report: The Treasurer s Report for November 2009 was read and approved with an ending balance of 2, Correspondence: Vice President Neil Cloe reported the following: 1. The MAFCA Annual Renewal Application: (The club secretary will process.) 2. Intake and Exhaust Newsletter Report: Harold highlighted the following in the newsletter: 1. Map and directions to the Chain O'Lakes Model "A" Club Christmas Party at the Illinois Beach Resort 2. Model A Springs Trivia 3. Word Search by Susan Werdell 5. Visitors: None for November 6. Old Business & Reports: 1. The Club's Garage Tour was a great time starting with breakfast, coffee, tools, and cars at Mike Freund and SusanWerdell's shop followed by the viewing of a 1925 Lincoln and cookies at Bob Quigs's and culminating with lunch and more car restoration projects at the Kelley's. Many thanks to the Freund and Werdell's, Quig's, and Kelley's for their fantastic hospitality and displays. 2. The November 1st Skips Swap Meet was good but did not feature much for the Model A. 7. New Business: 1. Club Christmas Party: Sunday December 6th, 4pm-9pm, Cash Bar, DJ Table, at the Illinois Beach Park Resort. Allen Bryant sent 8 letters to vendors soliciting for prizes. 2. Club Officers for 2010: President: Allen Bryant Vice Pres.: Sue Bulawa Treasurer: Paul Williams Secretary: Loren Root News Letter: Harold Lucas, Tom Maxon 3. 40th Club Anniversary: Sounds like the 40th Anniversary Commemorative may be a radiator emblem? [Committee: John Maxon, Allen Bryant, Don Schrieber, and Susan Werdell] 4. Key for meeting Room: Chuck Kelley will pick up the key before 4pm for January and February. 5. Pictures of the club charter are to be sent to Harold Lucas and Allen Bryant by Loren Root. 6. State Taxes on Cars: 15K> 6% sales taxes applies. <15K $75. Need to show bill of sale. Check your vehicle title and engine number. Title change goes up to $ Tech Talk: None for November 9. Rolls: Loren Root volunteered to bring the donuts for January. 10. Meeting Closed at 8:29 pm.

I took this from Ford Barn, ( web site ) Sept. 13, 2009, for your information. Please read it. It pertains to all of us in the wonderful hobby we have. It will be very interesting to see what increased costs the Secretary of State has for our Antique plate renewals ( for another 5 years ), this December.
