2 The Honorable Brad Halpern - - March 8, 17. NOTEWORTHY NCDENTS ll. TRAFFC A subject, resident of Glendale, was arrested for burglary, theft and possession of stolen property in the 37 block of Russell Ranch Road. The subject entered the store with two items (mixer and audio player) and then swapped these old items with the same type of new items from the store. He attempted to exit the store without paying. This subject committed similar incidents at the same retailer in the cities of Northridge and Sherman Oaks. (17-119) Three incidents of theft of a wallet/purse occurred this month. One incident was reported in the 319 block of Agoura Road. The victim was at the location (restaurant) sitting in the patio area and had her purse on the back of the chair. Video footage showed two male adults, possibly Hispanic or Middle Eastern sitting near the victim. One of the subject's grabbed his jacket (blue in color) and draped it over the victim's purse grabbing it and then wrapping it up into his jacket. Another incident occurred in the 57 block of Lindero Canyon. The victim was sitting in the patio area of the restaurant with her purse on the back of the chair. A male, 5 to 6 years of age, pounds, wearing a red hat and a backpack, sat down at a table behind her. The victim was approached by a female with pink hair and had a conversation with her. The male and female left the location together. The victim discovered her wallet was missing from her purse. The third incident occurred in the 57 block of Lindero Canyon. The victim had just finished shopping. She placed her purse in her vehicle and began loading groceries into the trunk. A gold or possibly white older sedan (Toyota or Acura) pulled up directly behind the victim's vehicle and the driver (female, 3's, Middle Eastern or Hispanic) asked the victim for directions to the 11 Freeway. Later the victim noticed that her wallet was missing from her purse. Two of the stolen credit cards were used at the Westlake Target by a female with light brown hair and a male, in his 3's and wearing red shoes. Another stolen credit card was used at the Moorpark Best Buy. (17-65, 97, 974) See attached. V. AGENDZED CAR See attached. V. CRME PREVENTON See attached. V. JUVENLE NTERVENTON TEAM See attached.
