For around-the-clock, real-time, traffic information on major south Florida highways call 511, download the FL 511 app on your mobile device or view real-time video from the Florida Department of Transportation s traffic monitoring cameras on the web at For updated lane closure information, visit our website at and follow us on Interstate I-95 from south of Broward Boulevard to north of Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction Sunday through Thursday night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The first two lanes will close at 9 p.m., the third lane at 10 p.m. and the fourth lane at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. All lanes will be open by 5:30 a.m. I-95 in both directions, from south of Davie Boulevard to north of Commercial Boulevard, will have intermittent shoulder and ramp shoulder closures, as needed, daily and nightly. The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Commercial Boulevard will be closed as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Cypress Creek Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Oakland Park Boulevard will be closed as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via I-95 and Commercial Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The I-95 northbound entrance ramp from Oakland Park Boulevard will be closed, nightly, as needed, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Commercial Boulevard and Powerline Road.

2 The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Commercial Boulevard will have one inside lane closed daily, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The I-95 northbound entrance ramps from Sunrise Boulevard will be closed between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Oakland Park Boulevard and I-95. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The I-95 northbound entrance ramps from Broward Boulevard will be closed as needed, 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via the Broward Boulevard Park & Ride lot and I-95 northbound. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. The I-95 northbound exit ramps to Oakland Park Boulevard will be closed as needed 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Traffic will be detoured via Commercial Boulevard. Description: This project will extend the High Occupancy Toll lanes from north of Commercial Boulevard to south of SW 10 th Street in Broward County. The scope of work includes adding a lane and converting the High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes to create two express lanes in each direction. Other work includes: installing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and tolling equipment; widening bridges; and installing noise barrier walls at locations along I-95 northbound between Atlantic Boulevard and Sample Road, and along I-95 southbound north of Sample Road. Completion is expected in spring I-95 from north of Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale to south of SW 10 th Street in Deerfield Beach I-95 between Commercial Boulevard and SW 10 th Street will be have three lanes closed in each direction Sunday through Thursday night between 10:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The first lane will close at 10:30 p.m., the second lane at 11:30 p.m. and the third lane at 12:30 a.m. until 5:30 a.m. One lane in each direction of Copans Road between North Andrews Avenue and North Dixie Highway will be closed daily, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. One lane in each direction of Cypress Creek Road will be closed daily, 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. McNab Road at I-95 will have two lanes closed in each direction, 10:30 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. 15 th Street at I-95 will undergo a full closure for bridge construction, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Eastbound 15 th Street traffic will be detoured south on Andrews Avenue, east on Atlantic Boulevard and north on NW 6 th Avenue. Westbound 15 th Street traffic will be detoured south on NW 6 th Avenue, west on

3 Atlantic Boulevard, and north on Andrews Avenue. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Copans Road at I-95 will undergo a full closure for bridge construction, 11 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Westbound traffic will be detoured via I-95 northbound and Sample Road. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via I-95 southbound and Atlantic Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. I-95 Northbound Full Closure Notice: I-95 northbound lanes at Sample Road will be closed to traffic overnight, 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Wednesday night, September 26 for bridge construction. Motorists will be detoured via the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Sample Road, S. Dixie Highway and SW 10 th Street. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached. I-95 Southbound Full Closure Notice: I-95 southbound lanes at SW 10 th Street will be closed to traffic overnight, 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Thursday night, September 27 for bridge construction. Motorists will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10 th Street, Military Trail, and Sample Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Please see detour flyer attached. Long-term Full Closure Notice: The Park & Ride entrance from the eastbound exit ramp to Cypress Creek Road is closed completely, reopening 5 a.m., Friday morning, October 12. Traffic will be detoured east along Cypress Creek Road to a U-Turn at NE 7 th Ave/Corporate Drive, and then west along Cypress Creek Road to the Park and Ride. Long-term Full Closure Notice: The I-95 southbound entrance ramp from the Cypress Creek Park & Ride Lot is closed completely, reopening 5 a.m., Friday morning, October 12. Traffic will be detoured via West Cypress Creek Road or North Andrews Avenue and I-95. FHP will on site to assist motorists. Completion is expected in fall I-95 Interchange from Hillsboro Boulevard to SW 10 th Street The I-95 southbound exit ramp to SW 10 th Street will be fully closed, as needed, Sunday night through Thursday night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists can detour via Hillsboro Boulevard. The outside lanes of I-95 southbound from Hillsboro Boulevard to SW 10 th Street will be closed Sunday night through Thursday night with the first lane closing at 9

4 p.m., the second lane closing at 10 p.m. and the third lane, if necessary, closing at 12:30 a.m. until 5 a.m. Two westbound lanes of SW 10 th Street at I-95 will be closed Sunday night through Thursday night between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. The sidewalk on the north side of SW 10 th Street between SW 12 th Avenue and SW Natura Boulevard is closed through November Signs are in place to direct pedestrians to the south sidewalk. Description: Construction on this 1.5-mile project began Monday, January 26, Work consists of widening southbound I-95 to add an auxiliary lane from the Hillsboro Boulevard entrance ramp to the SW 10 th Street exit ramp, widening the existing southbound I-95 exit ramp to SW 10 th Street, addition of a free flow right turn lane to westbound SW 10 th Street, widening of westbound SW 10 th Street to add an acceleration lane, utility relocation, milling and resurfacing, bridge widening, installation of barrier walls, curbs, sidewalks, guardrail, drainage, overhead signs, signing and pavement markings, signals, lighting, and retaining walls. This is the first of five interchange improvement projects throughout Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Completion in fall I-95 from south of SW 10 th Street to south of Glades Road (95 Express Phase 3B-1) Traffic Impacts: I-95 will have three lanes closed in each direction nightly, as needed, between Hillsboro Boulevard and Palmetto Park Road, with the first lane closing at 9:30 p.m., the second lane closing at 10:30 p.m., and the third lane closing at 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday. Camino Real between SW 15 th Avenue and SW 19 th Avenue has one outside lane closed in each direction through December 14. The first lane will close at 9 p.m., and the second lane will close at 10:30 p.m. All lanes will be opened by 6 a.m. Palmetto Park Road at I-95 will have one outside lane closed in each direction, daily, 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Advanced Notice: The I-95 southbound entrance ramps from eastbound and westbound Palmetto Park Road will be closed nightly, 11:30 p.m. until 5:30 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 27. Traffic will be detoured via Military Trail and Hillsboro Boulevard. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Description: This 4.8-mile project will extend the High Occupancy Toll lanes from south of SW 10 th Street to south of Glades Road in Broward and Palm Beach counties. The scope of work includes widening and converting the existing I-95 HOV Lanes to Managed Lanes which will result in two tolled Express Lanes in each direction; the number of General Use lanes will remain the same. Other activities include reconstruction of I-95 on the northbound and southbound approaches to the Hillsboro Canal bridges, milling and

5 resurfacing of I-95, construction of northbound and southbound auxiliary lanes between Hillsboro Boulevard and Palmetto Park Road, and construction of a northbound auxiliary lane between the SW 10 th Street entrance ramp and the Hillsboro Boulevard exit ramp. Other project improvements include: guardrail, barrier wall, attenuators, shoulder gutters, drainage, dredging of Hillsboro Canal, bridge widenings at Palmetto Park Road and Camino Real, bridge replacement at Hillsboro Canal, temporary and permanent retaining walls, noise wall construction, sign structures, portable traffic monitoring sites, toll gantry installation, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) installation, signing and pavement markings; Express Lane markers, lighting, ramp metering signals, utility relocation, and landscape relocation. Contract time for this $102 million project began Monday, July 10, 2017, with design and construction activities currently underway. The southbound lanes of Florida s Turnpike between Red Road and Snake Creek Canal closure will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, September 16 through Friday, September 21. During this closure, southbound Florida s Turnpike motorists wishing to continue south will be detoured to exit at Red Road (Exit 43), travel north on Red Road to Miramar Parkway, west on Miramar Parkway to I-75, then south on I-75 to take the exit ramp to Florida s Turnpike (Exit 5). In the event of inclement weather or other unexpected conditions this work will be rescheduled. 595 Express All I 595 Express Lane Shoulders going Eastbound and Westbound will be closed intermittently every day 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Wednesday, September 12, 2018 to Tuesday, November 13, 2018 for Installation of Fire Suppression system Guardrails. One left lane on Westbound State Road 84, 0.1 Mile West of Nob Hill Road will be closed from 10:00pm to 5:00am from Thursday, September 20, 2018 to Friday, September 21, 2018 for Removal of Overhead sign column. Northeast Broward 6. Broward Boulevard Improvements and Bridge Replacement Project in Fort Lauderdale Up to two lanes in each direction of Broward Boulevard from US 1 to NW 18 Avenue (500 feet maximum at a time) will be closed between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. and Saturdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for sidewalk construction and street light pole installation. Description: Project improvements include replacing the bridge over the North Fork of the New River, removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading crosswalk ramps to meet ADA requirements, upgrading signs and pavement markings, relocating bus

7 shelters, adding roadway lighting, installing drainage structures, upgrading signalized intersections to mast arms, reconstructing sidewalks, and widening roadway to add bike lanes in each direction. One lane in each direction of SW 4 Avenue from SW 28 Street to SR 84 will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for the installation of signs and application of pavement markings. Description: The improvements under this contract include constructing sidewalks, multiuse pedestrian paths, and bicycle lanes along 45 roadways in Broward County within Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Plantation, Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach, Lauderhill, Oakland Park, Lauderdale Lakes, and Fort Lauderdale. Description: Project improvements include installing a new irrigation system in the median and along both sides of the road and installing plants in the median and along both sides of the road, including various species of palms, shade trees and shrubs. Cost/Completion: $1,225,731 / Fall US 1 Improvements Project from Oakland Park Boulevard to Commercial Boulevard in Oakland Park and Fort Lauderdale The outside lane in each direction of US 1 from Oakland Park Boulevard to Commercial Boulevard will be intermittently closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for pedestrian signal improvements. Description: Project improvements include removing existing asphalt and resurfacing the road repairing sidewalks along the roadway and constructing Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant curb ramps, adding a designated 4-foot bicycle lane on both sides of the roadway and upgrading pedestrian signals at NE 33 Court, NE 43 Street, NE 38 Court

8 and Floranada Road. Description: Project improvements include removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading signs and pavement markings, adding a buffered bike lane in each direction, widening sidewalks, upgrading pedestrian signals and modifying pedestrian curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, upgrading roadway and pedestrian lighting, and installing new drainage structures and upgrading the existing drainage system. Sunset Strip Complete Streets Project from Sunrise Boulevard to Nob Hill Road in Sunrise All lanes open through Friday, September 21. Description: The improvements under this contract include removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading crosswalk ramps to meet ADA requirements, adding roadway lighting, upgrading existing drainage structures and adding one new drainage structure east of NW 68 Avenue, replacing the signalized intersection at NW 64 Avenue with a roundabout, replacing the four-way stop sign at NW 19 Street with a roundabout, reconstructing sidewalks in various locations, upgrading signs and pavement markings, and adding bike lanes throughout the corridor as follows Nob Hill Road to NW 15 Street: Eliminating a travel lane by milling, resurfacing, and restriping to provide one 12- foot travel lane and a 6-foot bike lane separated by a 3-foot striped buffer; NW 15 Street to Sunrise Boulevard: Widening the road to accommodate 5-foot bike lanes; At the intersections of Nob Hill Road, Pine Island Road, University Drive and Sunrise Boulevard, two through lanes will be maintained in each direction and the road will be widened to provide a 5-foot bike lane. 9 One lane in each direction of SR 7 from north of NW 31 Street to south of the Broward / Palm Beach County Line will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for the installation of drainage structures, concrete operations, and road widening. One southbound lane of SR 7 from Atlantic Boulevard to NW 31 Street will be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for conduit installation. Description: The improvements under this contract include removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, upgrading pedestrian features including 10-foot sidewalks on both sides and detectable warning surfaces at crosswalks, installing overhead sign structures, upgrading signs and pavement markings to include a 7-foot bike lane in each direction, installing new bus shelters with bicycle racks, trash receptacles, and benches, upgrading drainage structures, upgrading signalization, including pedestrian signals and detectors and vehicle video detection, and upgrading lighting. One northbound lane of SR 7 from the Broward / Palm Beach County Line to south of Glades Road will be closed Monday through Thursday evenings between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for AT&T manhole adjustments. One northbound and southbound lane of SR 7 from the Broward / Palm Beach County Line to south of Glades Road will be closed Monday through Friday evenings between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. for milling and resurfacing. Description: The improvements under this contract include removing old asphalt and resurfacing the roadway, minor shoulder widening, upgrading drainage structures, upgrading pedestrian features including a 10-foot sidewalk on the west side and a 5-foot sidewalk on the east side, and detectable warning surfaces at crosswalks, upgrading signalization, including pedestrian signals and detectors and vehicle video detection, upgrading signs and pavement markings to include a 7-foot bike lane in each direction, and upgrading lighting. 10 Description: On Monday, March 19, Traffic Control Devices, Inc. will begin installing a Truck Parking Availability System (TPAS) at rest areas and weigh stations in Martin, St. Lucie, and Broward Counties, which detects available spaces at rest areas and weigh stations and alerts commercial drivers via message boards. The Truck Parking Availability System installation will occur at the following locations: I-95 Northbound & Southbound Rest Areas in St. Lucie County at MM 133, two miles north of Orange Avenue / SR 68 (Exit 131), near Ft. Pierce; I-95 Northbound Rest Area in Martin County at MM 106, four miles south of Martin Highway / SR 714 (Exit 110), near Palm City; I-95 Southbound Rest Area in Martin County at MM 107, three miles south of Martin Highway / SR 714 (Exit 110), near Palm City; I-95 Southbound Weigh-in-Motion Station in Martin County at MM 113, one mile south of Becker Road (Exit 114), near Palm City; I-95 Northbound Weighin-Motion Station in Martin County at MM 92, four miles south of Bridge Road (Exit 96), near Hobe Sound; and I-75 Rest Area in Broward County at MM 34, 11 miles north of SR 25 / US 27 South (Exit 23), near Weston. One lane in each direction along Coconut Creek Parkway at locations approaching NW 31 st Avenue will be closed between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 10 through Friday, September 14 for installation of new sign structures. One lane in each direction along Sample Road at locations between Tradewinds Park Road and Powerline Road will be closed between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, September 10 through Friday, September 14 for installation of new sign structures.
