1 INVITATION FOR ALL FEMALE BOX CUP 2017 SATURDAY 24 TH & Sunday 25 th June 2017 Riccall Regen Centre, Landing Lane Riccall, Nr Selby, Yo19 6PW Categories Boxers are matched according to YEAR OF BIRTH NOT CURRENT AGE.. Entry cost 20 per boxer Boxers will be grouped into 4 boxers closest in number of bouts.. Schools/Junior/Youth 0-5 carded bouts. Schools/Junior/Youth 6 plus carded bouts. Novice Senior 0 8 Carded bouts Elite Senior 9+ Bouts Schools, Minors, Skills: (2007 must be 10 years at the time of competition) 26-28, 28-30, 30-32, 32-34, 34-36, 36-38, 38-40, 40-42, 42-44, 44-46, 46-48, 48-50, 50-52, 52-54, 54-56, 56-58, Junior: , 38-40, 40-42, 42-44, 44-46, 46-48, 48-50, 50-52, 52-54, 54-57, 57-60, 60-63, 63-66, 66-70, Youth: 1999/ , 46-48, 48-50, 50-52, 52-54, 54-57, 57-60, 60-63, 63-66, 66-70, 70-75, 75-80, 80+ Seniors: , 48-51, 51-54, 54-57, 57-60, 60-64, 64-69, 69-75, 75-81, 81+ Number of bouts over 2 days Maximum number of boxers in each group will be 4, boxing a semi-final on Saturday & final on Sunday.

2 Programme Saturday 24th June Medical & weigh-in between 5-7Pm boxing to commence at 8pm Sunday 25th June Medical & weigh-in between 9am-11am. Boxing to commence at 12pm Weight allowance/number of weigh ins Initial weigh in will take place Saturday morning between 9am & 11am and NO weight allowance will be given. All boxers will weigh in again on Sunday morning between 9am & 11am at which point a 300g weight allowance will be given. Rings There will be 2 rings in operation on both days R&J Each Club can bring a Referee & Judge with them, each must be registered to the relevant governing body and have provide there record card to the supervisor. Training Selby Boxing Academy (approx. 6 miles from venue) can be opened on request for any clubs that wish to use the facilities & travel up before the Saturday. Draw Boxers will be matched to the nearest bouts, EX: 0-6 Cat there a 4 boxers in a weight Boxer 1 has had 2 bouts, Boxer 2 has had 3, boxer 3 has had 5 and boxer 4 has had 6 then the 2 & 3 bout boxers will be matched and the 5 & 6 bout boxers. Rounds Skills Bouts will be boxed over 3 x 1 minute rounds, Bouts for Minors & School s (Years 2003, 2004 & 2005) will be boxed over 3 x 1.5 minute rounds, bouts for Junior s (Years 2001 & 2002) will be boxed over 3 x2 minute rounds. Youths 0-6 bouts 3 x 2 6+ bouts 4 x 2, Senior Novice 0-8 bouts 3 x 2, 9+ bouts 4 x 2 Rules The Selby Box Cup is held by the according rules of AIBA & England Boxing. Clubs traveling from abroad must follow their own National Federation Protocols to Bring a Team Abroad & have registered all Boxers, Coaches, Referee s & Judges with us by 28 th May 2017

3 Registration Fee s & Closing date: 20 (Non refundable) per boxer on entry (entry will not be accepted without fee) No entries will be accepted after 28 th may 2017 Clubs can take up to 3 coaches & must produce there coaches card/id to gain entry. Any large teams attending that require more than 3 coaches please contact us. Fee s to be paid via Paypal selbyboxingacademy@hotmail.com please add a note so we know who the entry is for. The Organisers reserve the right to move participants between classes Accommodation: There are several B&B s in and around Selby including in the village of Riccall. The City of York is approx. 12 miles away and there is a local bus service, Selby Town Centre is approx. 6 miles We have made some local B&B s aware of the Box Cup and there details are below Peggy at South Newlands Farm has 3 cottages that sleep 6 in each as well as B&B Rooms and is approx. 2 miles from the venue Craig at Dairyman s Cottage B&B Hilary at White Rose Villa There is also a hotel called The Wishing Well Hotel which is a New Country inns Hotel approx. 5 miles
