3 SPORTING NEWS Girls Basketball and Boy Basketball Schedules are listed in the newsletter. What are our Coaches saying? Coach Brausch (football) Any young man who wants to play football next year that is not playing basketball right now see Coach. Weight lifting has started. If you are interested please check this out. Coach Cummins (baseball) Any young man that is interested in playing baseball that has not signed up please come to the office and let Mrs. Thornsbury know. She will contact the coach for you. Coach Riley (softball) Any young lady that is interested in playing softball that has not signed up please come to the office and let Mrs. Thornsbury know. She will contact the coach for you. Coach Litzinger (tennis) There are several of the tennis team that HAS NOT turned in their tennis shirts. It is very important that these be turned in immediately. The school paid for the shirts, not the
4 students, therefore they are property of the school. You can bring them into the office. Sport action this week at school: Congratulations to the Lady Bears and Polar Bears for their big victories on Tuesday evening against St. Patrick Lady Saints and Saints. Great game..great fans.. Big shot for the Polar Bears! Put them into overtime!!!!

6 10TH REGIONAL TOURNAMENT IS AT MASON COUNTY. BOTH GIRLS AND BOYS! Saturday, February 24 th, is the 10 th region drawings. Watch facebook on the BCHS Polar Bear page for the results. Girls games are Monday and Tuesday. Boys first round games are Wednesday and Thursday. We will announce first thing Monday morning. Winter Sports Banquet will be on March 21 at 6:00. This is for boys basketball, girls basketball, cheerleaders and Archery.

11 Info for you to know Students are only to ride buses to Taylor if you are riding a bus home or going to a school event at the middle school or Taylor. You are not permitted to ride to Taylor then walk to town. If a student wants to take their permit to drive,they must come to the office and get a permit paper that must be signed by the guardian/parent and a school administrator. Please do by Wednesday if you are going on a Friday. Bad grades and poor attendance can keep this from happening. Important fact: All sport participates need a physical. This includes football, volleyball, tennis, track, golf, archery, cross-country, girl s basketball,boy s basketball and cheerleading. KHSAA physicals are required and can be picked up in the office before you go to the doctor. Parents you can check on your student s grades by logging in and looking at the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus. If you are interested contact Ext. 46 Every Student must pay $20 dues per school year. These dues are used for prom decorating, prom attendance and activities, senior expenses, and other expenses that arise.

29 Parents.does your child need help???? Tutoring BCHS will offer tutoring to students. Students need to check with their teachers to see who is staying on what days. This is a great way for Students to stay on track. Please see Mrs. Fisher if you cannot find out.
