1 Announcements 1 st semester 2015 Thursday, December 17, 2015 The AHS Toy Drive ended yesterday and 1,932 toys have been counted. The winning class will be announced soon. Thank you for your generosity and good will! Happy Holidays everyone! The Atascocita Speech and Debate Team and Explicit Vizionz are still collecting toiletries. Things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, mouthwash and other hygiene products for FamilyTime Crisis and Counseling. If you want to help, bring by your unused items to room 1321 until Dec. 18th. Attention Class of 2018, the class of 2018 senior field trip is now scheduled to take place in San Francisco the summer of There are limited spaces available, so if you are interested in going, please come to the meeting this afternoon at 6:30 in the Red LGI, or see Mr. Jeff Campbell for more details. Need to recover credits? Registration is NOW open until January 14. The After School Credit Recovery begins on Tuesday, January 19th. Do not spend this school year stressing about your credits. Come test your knowledge for fun and to donate rice to people in need worldwide through the World Food Programme for every question you answer correctly. Prizes will be offered to winning teams and individuals and there will be rice krispie treats too. You get a point for your self and maximum of two points for each friend you bring. 9 Tuesday, December 08, 2015 Congratulations to the Lady Eagles varsity golf team who competed at the Deer Park varsity Invitational at Battleground golf course this past Friday and Saturday. The team of Kristie Rieniets, Kyndal Schindler, Hannah Washburn, Hayley Zorkic, and Ainsley Deslatte finished in 5th place out of 25 teams in the tournament. The team was led in scoring by sophomore Hayley Zorkic with rounds of 80 and 79 and sophomore Ainsley Deslatte contributed with her career low tournament round. The team's next tournament will be at the Woodlands Country Club, January 18 and 19. The AHS Toy Drive has been declared a class competition. Which class will have the most spirit of giving?
