3 Where? Infinite Energy Center Sugarloaf Parkway near Satellite Boulevard

4 When to be there? 5:00 pm Remember this is a busy high traffic area leave with time to spare! Eat dinner before you come to graduation! Show CAP to parking to get in

5 Where to park? Main Entry to Arena/Civic Center Stairs down to back entrance on left side of Arena Student Parking

6 Where to go when you arrive? Back Entrance HERE Enter from the back of the arena at floor level See a Faculty member on the floor to help you find your seat

7 What to wear? Sunday Best Guys = Cap & Gown Nice shirt/tie/khaki s/nice shoes No flip flops, no tennis shoes, no bare feet Girls = Cap & Gown Dresses or dress pants; avoid high heels No flip flops, no bare feet, NO PURSES

8 Admittance to the Arena Arrive at the arena before 5:00 pm, park in the lot to the front left of the arena and enter down the steps to the back of the arena. What to Bring : Nicely dressed Graduation Gown & Cap- Take out packaging before arriving Keys to your car (safety pin, girls!) What NOT to Bring : No cell phones, no purses, no toys No ipods/mp3 players

9 Other notes about arrival: All other items you will be asked to return to your car, or we will confiscate them. There will be bags/ boxes if a student(s) shows up with any others items and they did not drive. We are not responsible for the security of these items.

10 Warn your relatives Note to your Guests = (i.e. - tell your parents) No Balloons No Signs No horns/whistles/etc. No ipads/laptops Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Ceremony starts promptly at 7:00 p.m. don t be late!

16 Diploma Pick Up You will find your IF teacher at the top of the arena once you exit You must have your diploma IN HAND before you will be allowed to exit!!!

17 Going Home 600 graduates: Ceremonies will probably be a minimum of 1 1/2 hours Might be closer to 2 1/2 hours Once students exit the Arena, you will not be let back in Your parents should exit and join you outside the arena

18 Difficult to pronounce name? When we dismiss, come down and see Ms. Gustavus and help her make sure they say your name correctly!

19 Media Fines/ Lost Books Failure to pay or turn in means you will NOT walk at graduation! Concerns or if you HAVE turned in the book see that teacher!

23 Request Official Transcript If you have not already done so, submit a request for your final transcript. Counselors cannot send your final transcript without an official request from you. Your acceptance to college and ability to register for classes are based on receipt of a final, official transcript of grades and graduation date. Go to url.southforsythhs.org/seniors to request your final, official transcript. There is no fee.

24 Honor Tassels To be named an Honor Graduate you must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA If you are not sure you have a 3.5 GPA, counselors can verify for you. If, after final senior grades are posted, you earn a 3.5 GPA, you will receive your honors tassel at graduation.

25 Senior Officers/ Speeches Senior Class Officers need to see Ms. Hewitt before you leave Salutatorians/Valedictorian need to see Ms. Hewitt about speeches
