3 Presidents Corner Town of Clifton Park July 4 th Celebration: ASMC members who wish to participate in the parade will be meeting at Harbor House at 10:15. From there we will proceed to the Shenendehowa Central School Campus off Route 146. Each group will check in with a parade organizer and will be given a location where they will assemble. The parade will start at 12 noon. Opening ceremonies will take place at Clifton Common immediately following the parade. Everyone is welcome to stay for the festivities after the parade if they wish. ASMC members will cruise to the Hemmings Show on Friday, July 8th. Anyone interested should meet at the Mobil station at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 22 at 4pm. We will be proceeding to the show from there in a group or you can make your way on your own if you wish. On Thursday, July 21st some of our members will be proceeding to the MCA Nationals in Buffalo. If you are planning on attending and would like to travel with other club members you should have received information from our MCA Representative Jeff Schleier. If you haven t, you should contact him for the information. Hope to see you at the meeting Walt Once again this year we will be having our meeting at Pirates Hideout for the spring and summer months. As in the past this is at no cost to the club thanks to Al s hospitality to us. Please come with an appetite and purchase some of the great food or ice cream treats in an effort to show Al our appreciation for the use of the facility. Also, bring that beautiful car of yours weather permitting and show it off in the front lot. Directions to our Summer Location at Pirates Hideout: The address is 175 Guideboard Road, Waterford, NY; phone number is (518) (pirateshideout.com). Directions are as follows from the Northway: Take exit 8A follow signs for Grooms Road. Turn right onto Grooms Road. At route 9 continue through the light at which time the name of the road will change to Guideboard road. Continue on this road for about ½ mile and it will be on your left next to the Stewarts Shop.

5 Adirondack Shelby-Mustang Regional Club Old Business Meeting held June 1, 2016 at Pirates Hideaway Meeting called to order at 7:03pm. Walt asked the membership to accept the minutes from the May meeting. Phil Benner made a motion to accept the minutes and Al Delsignore Jr. seconded the motion. Minutes were approved. Walt passed around the club mail. Steve Freed distributed the Treasurer s report for members to review. The beginning balance was $2, and the ending balance is $2, Phil Benner made a motion to accept the treasurer s report and it was seconded by Art Dahoda. The treasurer s report was accepted. Steve provided a report on the revenues and expenses of the Jack Byrne Car Show. Steve distributed a packet of flyers on upcoming car shows. Club Clothing - No report but Walt advised Wendy is working on getting the new club tee shirts and the staff tee shirts. Ads No report Car Shows o Jack Byrne There were 59 cars in attendance in spite of the cloudy, cold weather. It was agreed we will revisit the percentage of trophies that will be awarded to each class for next year s show. Walt said we will discuss this at a meeting early next year. o Jack Byrne feedback. The lines at the food vendor were long and service was slow. Walt asked that John discuss the need for improvement with the vendor before the Metro Car Show. Walt suggested that for next year s show we should see if there are other food vendors available. Linda reported that the speaker system could not be heard in the registration and raffle area. It was decided we will have an additional speaker for next year s show. o Metro show - John and Jeff need to develop a task list for this car show. Letters for goody bag items need to be sent around July 1. Walt will provide Linda with mailing labels. Bi-monthly restaurant dinner The next dinner will be on June 11 at 4:30pm at the Malta Diner. John Watters advised we will have a separate room for this event. New Business The Guptill Cruise Ins will be on June 13, July 11, August 8, and September 12. Walt asked that some club members attend and help him pass out club car show and cruise in flyers. Club members will cruise to the Hemmings show on July 8. Anyone interested should meet at the Mobil station at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 22 at 4pm. Mustang Nationals in Buffalo Jeff will determine a meeting spot to cruise to the show and notify the members that are attending. MCA Report no report 50/50 winner of $31 was Jeff Schleier.
