The Peter Vidmar Invitational has the reputation of being one of the finest meets in the United States. The two day event will feature gymnasts from Around the World and a Special Olympics session. In past years we have hosted gymnasts from 33 states, Australia, Canada, Finland, Iceland, Mexico, New Zealand and Russia & as many as 35 Special Olympians. Foreign gymnasts compete in every session! The levels will be divided into 6 sessions over a two day period. Gymnasts will compete for individual and all-around awards as well as team awards. Levels 7-10 & Elite Teams with 3 or more gymnasts may register for Team Competition. Awards will be determined by the top 2 scores in each event. Level 5 & 6 Teams with 5 or more gymnasts in a designated Team Category may register for Team Competition. Awards will be determined by the top 4 scores on each event. Due to uncertainty regarding numbers of gymnasts in each age category, the Level 5 Team age groups may change after registration is closed. There may be some adjustments in the individual age groups as well.

SATURDAY MARCH 4 SUNDAY MARCH 5 Session 1 Level 6, Special Olympics 7:30 am - Stretch 9:05 am - Competition Session 4 Level 4 7:30 am - Stretch 9:00 am - Competition Session 2 Level 7 & 8 11:30 am - Stretch 1:05 pm - Competition Session 3 Level 9, 10 & Elite 4:00 pm - Stretch 4:35 pm - Competition (Modified Capital Cup) Session 5 Level 5 11:45 am - Stretch 1:25 pm - Competition Session 6 Level 5 3:30 pm - Stretch 5:10 pm - Competition 9:30pm Reception at Dorsey High School We welcome all athletes, coaches, judges and spectators **Reception Socialize with Families, Gymnasts, Coaches, Judges, Officials, Foreign Athletes and their Delegations. Food and Drinks for all. This is a special event at Dorsey High School - please plan to attend. Level 5 age breakdown and ages for teams will be determined after all entries are in. Elite will be judged straight FIG. Requirements for Level 7, 8, 9, 10 as per USAG Junior Olympic Program. Session 3 will be Modified Capital Cup. Level 4 Athletes are required to compete in gymnastics shorts and t-shirt. NO long competition pants or warm-ups will be allowed as per Southern California Rules and Policies.
