1 Northwest Arkansas Corvette Club P.O. Box 1064, Rogers, Arkansas Corvette Times February, 2015 Newsletter Editors: Linda and Gordon Slothower Newsletter deadline: Pictures, articles, items for sale must be to the editor by noon on Wednesday after the monthly meeting. President Jeff Hunter Vice-President Richard Peak Club Officers Secretary Linda Slothower Treasurer Joanna Peak President s Corner ~ Jeff Hunter Dear Corvetters, Thank you to everyone who attended the February meeting. We keep having great attendance and had 52 at this meeting. I think we all just have a good time getting together to talk Corvettes. I think this explains why we are growing and having this terrific attendance. Keep coming and invite your friends who love Vettes. It s not every January that we have weather good enough to enjoy a cruise, but we had a group of 18 cars go to view the eagles at Stella, Missouri on January 24. We joined up with 7 cars from 4-States Vettes in Neosho. We got to see quite a few eagles and then went to Cotton-Eyed Joe s in Noel to eat. We all had a lot of fun and enjoyed meeting new club members Bruce McReynolds and his wife Ruta Jaudegis and Chad and Danielle Giannini. And now this Saturday is looking like we ll have perfect weather for a cruise planned by Rick Cartmell and Jack Lovin. They will be heading east and south for the beautiful scenery, winding roads and some really good food. Hope you can all join us. We are starting to hear about upcoming car shows. We re looking forward to getting out to shows and on several cruises our members are planning. We hope everyone will be able to come along. Happy driving! Jeff Dues for 2015 are Past Due If you have not yet paid your dues, please send a check to: Club Treasurer Joanna Peak P.O. Box 1064, Rogers, Arkansas
