3 Page 3 June 2012 FROM the GOVERNOR Well, our first month into the new year is over, an it was a great month. Our Mother s Day breakfast was a success. We served around 200 meals-444 eggs to be exact! It could not have been such a success without the volunteers: Derrick, Chet, and Armando, our cooks; Rex our server; Jess our cashier; Don and Sal; our champagne pourers; and Al, our shopper. Thank you all. I would especially like to thank the women of the moose: Ina, Patty, Andrea, and Audrey. You were very helpful and much appreciated. In June we have a lot of things happening. Remember to vote on the 5th. Our back hall is a polling place for the lucky members who live close by. The women will be putting on a Father s Day breakfast on the 17th. I m Looking forward to a fantastic breakfast. And don t forget all of our Friday night dinners followed by karaoke and our Taco Tuesdays. Let s make this our best year ever! We need your suggestions of what activities you would like to see at your Moose home. Dave, our handy man, has made a suggestion box (thank you Dave) that will be out up in the social quarters. This will be for the men and women of the moose. Just write LOOM or WOTM on the envelope so it gets to the right people. Please remember it is more fun to get involved than sit on the sidelines; so come on down and enjoy yourself. Thank you, Sean Watanabe
