1 May, 2015 Relay For Life of Norlanco CELEBRATING 30 YEARS OF Color me PURPLE! ARE YOU READY TO RELAY?!? The next few weeks will be a blur. Calendars are getting full, garages and cars are getting packed and the lists are getting longer. We save lives and create more birthdays by helping you stay well, helping you get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back. You have till the end of the week to get sponsor commitments. Sponsorship is a wonderful opportunity for a small business to make a difference, get their name out there (and in our program) and your team gets credit! You have till June 1 st to get the Hero Wall information to me. We all have HEROs... please use this as a special way to share why you Relay. We need a copy of a photo and a short story about your HERO. Then there is graduation congratulations to all our Graduates! June 9 th is Bank Night!! We will be meeting at the WellSpan Ephrata Cancer Center. Make sure all your team information is in the ACS system and qualified individual T-Shirts will be available that evening. The committee members will be at the cancer center and available to answer questions. Details on all the volunteer information for the event will also be available. A few quick notes Thank you! Thank you to our Sponsors, our Teams and Team Captains! Thank you to the countless community members who support our fundraising activities. Thank you to the Survivors You are our reason to Relay!! Thank you to our committee and ACS staff and their families. We want to celebrate our survivors birthdays!! Happy Birthday to: And remember sunburn is NOT a good thing and a TAN should come from a bottle!! Slip on a hat and slop on SUNSCREEN! Sharon Susa Event Lead

9 GARDEN SPOT HIGH SCHOOL FACILITY AND GROUNDS RULES The Garden Spot High School is allowing Relay to be held on their property. They are extremely cooperative and accommodating and we have the use of a very well maintained facility. As participants and users of this property we need to keep it that way and return it to them in the same condition as when we moved in on Friday afternoon. In addition, we want this to be a safe and pleasurable experience for all who attend. We ask you to please follow a few simple guidelines Vehicles may not go to tent sites to load and unload. There will be a temporary loading/ unloading zone close to the entrance. Do not park on the grass at tent sites. Those who come at prime time may have to park a longer distance from their site or the field. RV s two spaces are allowed for each RV in the area of the tennis courts. We ask that all RV s park in this area. Make sure rear wheels are on the macadam, not on the grass. Handicapped parking spaces are noted both with handicapped parking signs as well as with cones on the west side of the field. There will be approximately 20 spaces marked. It is especially important to have these spaces available on Friday evening for Survivors Dinner and Lap. Cones will be reduced in number late Friday evening. Handicapped parking will also be available on the east side of field; however, these spaces will not be available until 4:00p.m. Wheelchairs and strollers of any kind will be allowed on the track. Overflow parking will be available at Tractor Supply. Do not park in the first row, as this area is for Tractor Supply Customers. Bikes, skates and skateboards are not permitted inside the stadium. Pets are not permitted inside the stadium If a car is parked on the grass or where other area designated no parking for safer parking lots, we will announce make and color of car along with license plate number. We ask that you promptly move this vehicle. There is a curfew ordinance in the borough of New Holland. We ask that anyone 18 and under remain on school property. If these individuals are found walking around the borough after the 12:00a.m. curfew, they may be questioned by the borough police. Drinking and Smoking is prohibited on school property. Thank you for your cooperation.
