2 DEL ORO JUNIOR GOLDEN EAGLES Footb a l l & C H E E R Dear Prospective Supporter, The Del Oro Junior Golden Eagles Football and Cheerleading Program is seeking local businesses and individuals for financial support so that our boys and girls may continue to experience the benefits and excitement that comes along with competing with our neighboring communities on the football field this fall. Our hope is to continue to provide our young boys and girls with a top-notch football and cheer program so these young participants may continue to develop their skills as they move up the ladder through the Junior Program on their way to High School. The Del Oro Junior Golden Eagles are comprised of local boys and girls as young as six years old up to 14 years old. The organization fields five teams from the Mighty Mites to The Midgets, and operates solely on funds generated from registration fees, donations, contributions and sponsorships. These funds are used to purchase supplies and equipment needed to keep our kids safe, and to provide a venue for the young players and cheerleaders to practice and perform. Some of the Del Oro Junior Football and Cheer Program expenses include: Game Field Rental Fee Practice Fields Rental Fee Gymnasium Rental Fee for Cheerleaders Football Equipment and Uniforms for Players and Cheerleaders Football Helmet Reconditioning and Safety Certification Lighting Rental for Practice Fields Equipment Storage Space Port a-potty Rental Game Day Referees & Medical Staff League Insurance The Del Oro Junior Golden Eagles also provide a scholarship program for boys and girls that need financial assistance for their registration fees. Our coaches, board members and parents are all volunteers who give generously of their time to ensure that our young football players and cheerleaders have the opportunity to participate within our local football league. The highlight of our Junior Football & Cheer Program are the boys and girl's home games played on Saturdays during the football season at The Del Oro Golden Eagle Stadium. Our youngsters are able to experience the same type of excitement that the High School football players and cheerleaders feel. The dreams of performing on Friday Night Lights as High School football players and cheerleaders in front of our community are born and encouraged within our Junior Football and Cheer program.
