1 Nickelodeon Competition Rules Tinsel Toons Competition (the Competition) Just like school, there are a few rules you will need to follow if you enter the Competition. These rules (the Terms ) tell you how to enter the Competition, what the opening and closing dates and times are, all about our exciting prizes and anything else you might need to know before you enter. Any changes to these Terms will be posted as updated terms and conditions and will be available on IMPORTANT INFORMATION 1. Opening Date: 00.01am on Monday 04 December 2017 ( Opening Date ) 2. Closing Date: 23.59pm on Sunday 24 December 2017 ( Closing Date ) 3. Promoter: Nickelodeon UK Limited (Company Registration No: ) of Hawley Crescent, London, NW1 8TT ( Nickelodeon, We or Us ) WHO CAN ENTER? 4. To enter the Competition: a) you must be aged 15 or younger; b) you must live in the UK or the Republic of Ireland; c) your parents/guardians or family members must not be employees of Nickelodeon, any other company associated with the Competition or their respective associated companies or agents. Your family members include your mother, father and any brothers or sisters; PARENTAL CONSENT 5. Great news, if you ve made it this far it looks like you can enter the Competition! But before you get started please make sure you get your parent or guardian s permission to enter. Costs to enter the competition via the internet may vary so please check with your service provider for current charges. You should also seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering. PROMOTION PERIOD 6. The Promotion Period starts when the Competition opens on the Opening Date and ends when the Competition closes on the Closing Date. 7. The Competition is made up of 21 (twenty one) individual daily prize competitions which will take place on each day of Monday 04 December 2017 Sunday 24 December 2017 (inclusive) (each a Daily Competition). DAILY COMPETITIONS

2 8. Each Daily Competition will open for Entries at 00.01am (Daily Competition Opening Time) and close for Entries at 23.59pm (Daily Competition Closing Time). 9. To enter a particular Daily Competition you will need to: a) watch Nicktoons between 07.00am 10.00am and/or 15.00pm 18.00pm on the corresponding day during the Promotion Period and look out for an of a Nicktoons character wrapped in tinsel (the Icon ). b) go to and select the Icon that you have seen that day and answer the question as to who is that days tinsel toon; and c) complete the personal details form, between the Daily Competition Opening Time and Daily Competition Closing Time on the corresponding day. Together (a), (b) and (c) above shall be an Entry. 10. If you want to enter a particular Daily Competition Nickelodeon will need to have received your Entry between the Daily Competition Opening Time and the Daily Competition Closing Time on the corresponding day of the Promotion Period. Entries received before or after this time will not be valid. 11. Only one Entry is permitted per person per Daily Competition. Multiple Entries to a single Daily Competition will be void and may lead to an entrant being disqualified. PRIZES 12. There will be one winner for each Daily Competition (each a Winner and together the Winners). 13. The Prizes for each Daily Competition are set out in the Prize Schedule hereto (each a Prize and together the Prizes). Please take care to note the details of each Prize as set out in the Prize Schedule. 14. Events may occur that render the awarding of any Prize (or any part thereof) impossible due to reasons beyond the reasonable control of Nickelodeon. Nickelodeon will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage suffered by a Winner should they not redeem or be able to redeem a Prize (or any part thereof) as a result of any such event. In particular, Nickelodeon shall have no obligation to substitute any alternative prize, cash equivalent or provide any other compensation. PRIZE DRAW 15. The prize draw for each Daily Competition will be conducted within two working days after that Daily Competition except for the Daily Competitions on December 2017, where the prize draws will be conducted during the week commencing 31 December The Winner of each Daily Competition will be the first Entry selected randomly by Nickelodeon from all entrants who correctly selected the Icon that day in accordance with these Rules. 17. Nickelodeon will notify the Winners of each Daily Competition by telephone within 5 working days of the relevant prize draw.

3 18. Nickelodeon may in its discretion ask the Winner s parents/guardians to confirm that they are happy for the Winner to receive the Prize and may request written confirmation of this. 19. The Prize will be dispatched within 30 days of the Winner or their parent/guardian confirming their delivery details to Nickelodeon and Nickelodeon receiving any confirmation it deems fit in accordance with these Terms. 20. Prizes can only be sent to a UK and/or Eire address so if a Winner has moved somewhere outside the UK/Eire after entering the Competition, their Entry will not be valid. 21. Nickelodeon reserves the right to choose an alternate Winner (or Winners) if: a) a Winner does not comply with these Terms or Nickelodeon has reasonable grounds for believing that a Winner has broken a rule contained in these Terms; or b) a Winner or their parent/guardian do not (i) agree to these Terms; (ii) want to receive the Prize; or (iii) give any consent as may be requested by Nickelodeon within 24 hours; or c) Nickelodeon cannot contact a Winner or a Winner does not respond to any requests from Nickelodeon for information (e.g. confirmation of their address) within 48 hours of such request. 22. Use of Entry: By entering this Competition you agree that, Nickelodeon may, in connection with this Competition, use your Entry, your name, your biographical information and any statement made by you, in any and all media throughout the world as Nickelodeon in its sole opinion sees fit, without payment or further consent. GENERAL 23. Nickelodeon reserves the right to cancel this Competition at any stage prior to the Opening Date or to shorten the time for entering the Competition on notice, if Nickelodeon thinks it is unavoidable, or if circumstances arise which are out of Nickelodeon s control. If the time for entering the Competition is cut short, winners shall be selected in accordance with these Terms from all eligible Entries received prior to such termination date. 24. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be valid. Nickelodeon is not responsible if your Entry gets lost, delayed, misdirected, undelivered, damaged or if you have technical problems trying to enter the Competition. 25. Please take care when entering the Competition to ensure that you provide your correct contact details. Any Entries which are incomplete and/or can t be read clearly will not be valid and won t be entered into the Competition. 26. Nickelodeon shall at its sole discretion determine whether an Entry is valid, based on the entry requirements set out in these Terms. Each valid entry will be entered into the Competition. Any Entries sent in by post will not be returned. 27. Only entries from individuals will be accepted. Any entries that Nickelodeon believes have (a) been made via participation in a syndicate or (b) via any form of machine assisted intervention enabling computer generated multiple entries, will be disqualified. 28. The Prizes is as stated and is non-transferable. No cash alternatives will be offered. If due to circumstances beyond Nickelodeon s control Nickelodeon is unable to provide

4 any stated Prize or any part of it, Nickelodeon reserves the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. All Prizes may be subject to the additional terms and conditions of the manufacturer or supplier. 29. The winners of the Prize, or their parent/guardian (if applicable), shall be responsible for any applicable taxes and expenses not specified in the Prize description. 30. All entrants confirm that they have obtained the consent of their parent/guardian before entering the Competition and acknowledge that receipt of the Prize may be subject to confirmation from the Winner s parent/guardian that they are happy for the Winner to receive the Prize (if applicable). 31. Nickelodeon will not be liable for any loss or damage however it was caused (including without limitation in contract, tort or statutory duty) in connection with the Competition and/or Prize, other than death or personal injury caused by Nickelodeon s (and/or its employees ) negligence. 32. Any personal information collected by Nickelodeon for the Competition will be used in accordance with Nickelodeon s Privacy Policy set out at A copy can be obtained by writing to Nickelodeon by at letterbox@nick.co.uk or by post to Nickelodeon s address above, marked for the attention of The Data Protection Officer. In summary, personal information collected from entrants will be used by Nickelodeon solely in connection with the Competition and will not be disclosed to any third party except for the purpose of operating the Competition and fulfilling the Prize where applicable. 33. If you would like to know who won this Competition, please send a stamped addressed envelope to Nickelodeon at the above address marked Tinsel Toons Competition within 60 days of the Closing Date and we will send you a list of any Winner s first name and home county. 34. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and if there are any disputes the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
