Two trainings, a Leadership Conference in Dallas from the 16 th 20 th, family Thanksgiving preparations, Christmas shopping, a sick daughter [mono] and the season opener in basketball. After survival, the goal was to deliver the November Update in November. We are truly grateful for those of you who were aware of Jenna s illness and were praying for her. She is on the mend, but keep those prayers coming. She is not programmed for sitting and resting. We not only want her back in school, but back playing basketball as well. Your prayers have been awesome - God is great and greatly to be praised! Barry Welcome New Jewelers!! 12 November 2007 Page 12 Spotlight on Mom How long have you been in Premier and what was your Why? I have been with Premier for almost four years. I got involved with Premier because at the time Gregg had terminated his employment with UPS due to health reasons; new employment had not come knocking yet...but Jane Francis sure had :) How has Premier impacted your life? Premier Designs has impacted our life with so many blessings. I have a wonderful downline whom I love, I have an amazing sideline, and I can't say enough about my Premier Mom, Jane Francis. I have continued support from Molly Crowe and Sharmin Shockley. I truly just feel so blessed to be a part of a Christian company. What do you feel you do best? I feel the best thing I do is "relate to people." I feel confident with building relationships, and I try hard to respond back quickly with information that someone is looking for...even if they just need an ear to listen... I am here for them. Have you had any disappointments along the way? Surely I have had disappointments along the way. We all have cancelled shows, OP's, low retail, etc., but what matters the most is how strong of an individual YOU are to pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and MOVE ON. Its going to happen, there are disappointments with ANY job you have. What we have to remember is the fact that alot of "jobs" don't pay $30.00, $40.00, $50.00 and higher an hour. Our s DOES :) :) :) If so, what kept you going? God has kept me going with Premier, prayers and sheer determination, a passion for what I do, the love of meeting new people and building relationships with them...last, but certainly not the least,...all OF YOU, and I THANK-YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!! What is your current booking activity? My current booking activity is " Play Today " [aka Pass or Play]. And of course the fabulous 50% in January for our hostesses, then for Feb. "We have a new line of JEWELRY." What is your current sponsoring activity? $ cash I keep in my pocket (Thank-You Donna Kousma :) and also Ask It Basket. What advice would you give new jewelers? Pray that God will bless you and your new business. Stay close to your Premier Mom, and DON'T MISS TRAININGS, they are so informative and motivational. Call your Premier Mom after your shows, She can help you immensely. I still call Jane after three and a half years. What are the 3-5 most important things you did to grow your business? Stay consistent with your bookings, continue to build relationships, attend trainings ( that can NEVER be said enough ), do 6 8 shows a month. I personally believe that once you have mastered the bookings, you should look to sponsoring because you have to be able to TEACH your new jeweler "how to get bookings" for a successful business. What are your Premier Goals? My first one is to be available to my downline whenever they need me. I want to help them achieve their goals This means ALOT to me. Another goal I have is to be in Senior Leadership and continue to climb up the ladder after that. I also want to continue serving; like they say in Premier, "This business is not about us... it is about serving others."
