On March 29, the community held a gathering at FUMC-CC. It was a particular joy to see so many friends and to celebrate the dedication of the team for Women's Walk An evening of music, worship, and fellowship with great food. The only thing missing was more of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Other joys to report include; the Board of Directors for is rapidly becoming complete. There are still a few positions to fill, but your BOD is certain that God will send the people to fill these positions. A list of positions and the duties involved can be found in the By-laws on the Coastal Bend website. If you feel you would be one of those called to serve, please contact at

Pray for Walks 1755 & 1761 For God to select the Team, Sponsors and Pilgrims. That each will have good health, open minds and hearts. That each will give undivided attention and Christ-like team wisdom. That each will have patience, trust and calmness about them. That all will feel joy and a sense of God's love. That the leaders will walk in His Spirit in all they are called to do. That the SD's be truly an instrument of His Spirit. For the Holy Spirit to meet each Pilgrim's needs. For the team to open themselves as God's channels. For the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the lives of pilgrims and team. For all to realize God's grace is sufficient for all needs. That all involved will keep the integrity of the Walk and follow the Upper Room model.
