2 Welcome to the 5th Annual Crowned Prince & Princess Charm Pageant! I wanted to create a pageant system that is fun for all ages, both male and female. Contestants will be competing in Interview ( 3 and up), formal wear and casual wear of their own choosing. You will see some of the prettiest young ladies and the most dashing young men in the area competing for cash, scholarships and prizes. In addition, there are over 14 optional categories including Derby Wear, 1950 s Wear, Western Wear and Photogenic just to name a few. Please join me in this very worthwhile and fun competition. As always, I know the courage, drive and discipline that it takes to compete. I wish every contestant the best of luck and remember: you are ALL WINNERS. Have a great pageant day! 4 Dr. Tim Rose Dr. Tim Rose is a Family and Cosmetic dentist in Frankfort Kentucky. He is a 1987 graduate of Centre College and a 1993 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry where he served as Student Senate President. He has been a volunteer football coach for over sixteen years and most recently was on staff at the Lexington Christian Academy. Dr. Rose is also a member of the Frankfort Rotary Club. Tim also rings bells for the Salvation Army, does volunteer exams for the Colgate Bright Smiles Program, teaches dental education throughout Franklin county and teaches Junior Achievement. Margaret Blackwell A resident of Louisville Kentucky, she is a Medical Device salesperson for the Becton Dickinson Company and an extreme team member for Disney and the ABC network. In addition, Margaret is no stranger to the pageant industry. Her pageant titles include: 2007 Galaxy International Pageant Photogenic Winner and Fourth runner-up, 2007 Miss Midwest Galaxy Overall Photogenic Winner, 2006 America s Ultimate Queen Overall High Point Winner, Evening Gown and Interview Award, 2005 Miss Kentucky Galaxy, 2004 Kentucky Beauties of America, 2001 Miss Kentucky American United States Spirit Winner, Top 10 at Miss American United States, 2000 Mrs. Kentucky International, 1999 Mrs. Kentucky America, Overall Photogenic Winner.In addition to her pageant accomplishments, Margaret is an accomplished cheerleader and gymnast. In 1989 she led the Morehead State University Varsity Cheerleaders to their first Division I National Championship which was featured on the ESPN network. In the fall of 2006, she was featured in Supermodels Unlimited magazine. Her extensive background in theatre has been an asset to Margaret s film accomplishments including: SeaBiscuit, Dreamer, and Elizabethtown which were all filmed in the Bluegrass.In her spare time, she is an avid Red Cross volunteer, where she serves on the Medical Services Team for Kentucky, which assists victims of natural disasters. Misty Howard A former Miss Clark County Fair, this summer marks her sixteenth year of both participating in and volunteering for the Clark County Fair Pageants. Misty has been the Director of all nine Fair Pageants for the past 9 years and is a former Secretary of the Clark County Executive Fair Board. An Images Modeling School graduate, Misty has completed print ad work, modeled in style shows, has been featured in several television commercials, and you can now find her smiling face on the side of the Lexington Clinic vans throughout Central Kentucky. A 2005 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Sullivan University, Misty obtained her Bachelor s of Science Degree in Human Resources and was awarded the President s Cup for her academic achievements. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and works as the Human Resource Generalist at Hoffman Enclosures, Mt. Sterling. In her spare time, Misty enjoys singing in the First Baptist Church Choir, volunteering in her community, cruising the back roads in Kentucky, watching her favorite rock-n-roll bands perform, and collecting Marilyn Monroe memorabilia. 4

5 Amy White Amy White is 20 year old college student who attends Bluegrass Community and Technical College, where she is currently majoring Liberal Arts. Amy is no stranger to pageants as she was crowned Miss Kentucky Teen America 2007, and has been the emcee at several pageants since. In addition to pageantry, she enjoys showing cattle, riding four- wheelers, and spending time with her family. Dawn McDonald Dawn lives in Franklin County with her husband Chris and their four dogs. She enjoys pageantry and is active in her community. She is the director of the Little Miss and Mr. Franklin County Fair as well as the director of the Tiny Miss and Mr. Franklin County Fair. She is an active member of the Capital City Woman s Club and operates her own business decorating homes for the holidays and wedding planning/coordinating. 5
