V Reports of Trusted Servants: A. CCFAA Chairperson Steve B: To open the meeting today you may have noticed that we include the 12 concepts of AA service, which are included the Operating Procedures. It was moved and approved last year that we incorporate the 12 traditions and 12 concepts into CCFAA as much as possible while still following the guidance of our bylaws and operating procedures. There are some essential principles expressed there and I hope we can take a minute to reflect on how they apply to this service. This is the third legacy; RECOVERY, UNITY, AND SERVICE. There is a lot going on around the region this month, the Spring Fling is a big annual event in District 24 and starts Thursday, please announce this event at all your meetings, let s give them our support. We have some important business to report on today including the search for an office manager and the search for a new office, and we have a couple Operating Procedure items to vote on this month. Also, we are looking for a Picnic committee chair this month and will take that up in Old Business. As always if you have procedural changes or motions for the floor please bring them to me or the By-laws Chair Bill D. and we will accommodate you. In love and service, Steve B. B. We really need to put out the information about the program out to our groups. $5.00 a month is all that is requested. Help Central Office to continued to spread the message throughout our area, be a Faithful Fiver! Thank you John Q. Assistant Chair C. Treasurer Ray L. Jan Income o Total Income for January exceeded budget projections by roughly 25% or $5,600. All line items met or exceeded budget for the month. o The above increases primarily consist of Increased AAWS literature sales; $8, actual vs $7,625 projected.\ o Group contributions far exceeded budget at $12,949 actual vs $8,416 projected. o Anonymous & Birthday contributions and Office Services revenue all exceeded projection. o The newly initiated Faithful Fivers program is off on a very positive note and has contributed several hundred additional dollars to date. Please encourage your group members to participate. o Gross profit for January was $16, versus $12,500 budgeted. Expense Expenses for 2008 will be paid on an as occurred basis versus last minute o Office expense was exceeded by roughly $200+, increases were in postage & delivery and replenishment of office supplies primarily. o Utilities were exceeded by almost $300 due to paying Gas & Electric on a pay as occurred basis. o Professional fees were under by $168 due to less than projected Accounting and Network Admin costs. o Payroll expenses were under slightly by $240. o Total Expenses for the month were $11, versus $12,500 budgeted. o Resulting Net Income for the month was $5, For January 2008 Group & individual contributions continue very strong, please continue to encourage that with your groups. The office staff and the OOC continue to explore ways to increase revenue and reduce expenses. D. ByLaws Chairperson Bill D. No new proposals at this time. CCFAA PAGE 9

NCCAA Steering Committee Meeting held in Stockton, CA, on Jan 29, No new venues added this meeting. Balance sheet was not approved due to some errors.
