FEMALE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD IN MATERA, ITALY Dear Sirs: Under the organization of FIHP Federazione Italiana Hockey e Pattinaggio in co-operation with Società Organizzatrice Hockey Matera will be held in Matera, Italy, the 13 th Female European Championship. 1. PARTICIPATING NATIONAL TEAMS AND REGISTRATION LIST OF ALL THEIR REPRESENTATIVES 1.1 This championship will be participated by the following National teams: SPAIN (the European Champion in tittle), PORTUGAL, ITALY, FRANCE, GERMANY and AUSTRIA (*) (*) Note: The participation of AUSTRIA it is not yet confirmed. In case of its absence the respective matches - already scheduled in the provisional calendar (see paragraph 4.3) - will be considered null and void. 1.2 Each participating Federations need to submit to CERH as soon as possible the registration list of all its team representatives (players, delegates, technical staff and other representatives), whose form is available on the APPENDIX 1 of this communication 2. DATES TO BE CONSIDERED Via dei Sanniti 1 Matera, ITALY 40 x 20 meters Parquet 800 places 5 Dressing rooms (4 for the teams + 1 for the Referees) Press room + CERH room 4.1 TRAVEL PROGRAMS OF THE PARTICIPATING NATIONAL TEAMS The participating National teams should arrive to Matera either during the 23 rd of August 2015 (Sunday) or during the 24 th of August 2015 (Monday), travelling back to their countries on the 30 th of August 2015 (Sunday). Each participating team must insure, as soon as possible, the sending to CERH of an with the following information: All the details related with its travel program, indicating the airport and timetable of the flights of arrival and departure (*); The definition of the timetable for its training session for adaptation to the rink (please see paragraph 4.2); The confirmation of its hotel of accommodation having in mind the specific information we are now providing in what concerns the official hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Matera) and the pre-reservations already provided by the organization (see paragraph 6) (*) Note: All the National teams that will be travelling by plane will be welcomed at the BARI PALESE AIRPORT which is 90km away from Matera - and they will be taken to their respective hotels by the organization Page 1 of 8 Página 1 de 8

2 4.2 TRAINNING SESSIONS FOR ADAPTATION TO THE RINK According to the date of arrival and the specific requests of each participating National team, it was decided to schedule the following two alternatives for the training sessions for the adaptation to the rink (30 minutes for each team): Monday, the 24 th of August, in the afternoon, from 17:00H to 19:30H Thursday, the 25t. of August, in the morning, from 09:30H to 12:00H 4.3 COMPETITION PROVISIONAL CALENDAR The 13 th Female European Championship will take place from the 25 th of August 2015 (Tuesday) to the 29 th of August 2015 (Saturday), according to following provisional calendar, having mind that the participation of the AUSTRIA team it is not yet confirmed. 5. TIME OF THE MATCHES AND SPECIFIC PROCEDURES TO BE APPLIED IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP 5.1 EFECTIVE PLAYING TIME OF EACH MATCH In all the matches of the Female European Championship the effective playing time is 40 (forty) minutes, divided over two periods of 20 (twenty) minutes each. There is a 10 (ten) minutes of interval between the end of the first period and the start of the second period of play. 5.2 TV COVERAGE OF THE COMPETITION PROCEDURES TO START THE GAME AS SCHEDULED CERH TV will ensure live TV transmission from all the matches of this competition, which implies the total cooperation of all the national teams, in order to insure the start of all the games according to the scheduled time. Consequently, the entrance of the players in the rink must occur, at least, 15 minutes before the beginning of each match, in order to enable the protocol that is established for the pre-game, including the presentation of the players. 5.3 ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES TO SAFEGUARD CASES OF CLASSIFICATORY DRAW In order to safeguard cases of Classificatory draw, when a match of this Championship ends with a tied result, the Referees will

3 5.3 ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES TO SAFEGUARD CASES OF CLASSIFICATORY DRAW In order to safeguard cases of Classificatory draw, when a match of this Championship ends with a tied result, the Referees will have to insure the execution of direct free hits, according with the following procedures: An initial series of 3 direct free hits for each team, which must be executed by different players, whose shirt numbers must be previously delivered to the Assistant Referee. In the case of maintaining a tie, successive series of one free direct hit need to be executed, which can be performed by the same player from each team until a winner is found. The outcome of this tie will not affect the final result registered at the end of the regular time of the match in question and 1 point will be awarded to each team, as established in Article 21, paragraph 1, of the FIRS/CIRH Technical Regulation. The execution of each direct free hit can be performed in the usual way, which means that it can be performed with a direct shot on goal or with the transportation of the ball. a) If the thrower has decided for the transportation of the ball, he can not take more than 5 seconds to try to score, shooting on goal; b) Both the Main Referees are responsible for the control of the correct execution of the direct free hit executed with the transportation of the ball, having in mind that: One of them must control the time of 5 seconds that is established to start its execution; Once the ball is touched, the other Referee must control the time of 5 seconds that is established to finish the execution of the direct free hit. Safeguarding the provisions of the preceding paragraphs, the execution of the referred direct free hits comply with the provisions set forth in Article 29 of the Rules of the Game. 6. ACCOMODATION & MEALS OFFICIAL HOTEL AND CONFIRMATION OF THE PRE-RESERVATIONS Each National Federation is responsible for its own accommodation and meals cost, according to the regulations in force. Nevertheless and as usual, the organizers have made contacts with a local Hotel in this case the HILTON GARDEN INN MATERA that was designated as the official hotel for this championship - in order to try to accommodate the representatives of all the participating teams that want to chose this option. The organization has already secured a pre-reserve in this Hotel for all the participating National teams (with the exception of AUSTRIA), according to the following assumption: check-in on Sunday 23/0/2015, after 15.00H, and check-out on Sunday, 30/08/2015, until 12: 00H.
