1 The Falls Premier Ball I would like to invite you to Niagara Falls, Ontario, anada on January 25 th, 26 th, 27 th and 28 th in the year 2018 for the 20 th edition of DanceSport ompetition. e are truly honoured to present this years showcase featuring the prestigious North American hampions throughout the era and future champions to be. There will be three days of glamorous dancing at the MARRIOTT ON THE FALLS, located on the world famous Fallsview Boulevard. You may enjoy exquisite dining in the Fallsview Dining Room overlooking Niagara Falls and the upper rapids with all of its splendid colours at night. Just minutes away, you will find the Niagara Fallsview asino Resort, the Avalon Ballroom, the Niagara Parks Greenhouse - a tropical botanical paradise, 24 hour fast food restaurants, Hard Rock afé, Rain Forest afé, Planet Hollywood, and lifton Hill. 4 RULES & REGULATIONS No responsibility for the loss or theft of articles left in ballroom, change rooms, hotel rooms and any area used by dancers, spectators or officials can be accepted by Organizer. All persons attending this event do so at his/her own risk and are bound by the rules of their respective association and by participating in the event, become automatically obliged to adhere to them. Rules are available on request. In any event with less than 3 entries, the organizer reserves the right to eliminate the age & sex divisions and merge competitors into one open division. It is the competitor s responsibility to be in attendance at least 30 min. in advance of the scheduled time of their competition. All Solo Exhibitions must be on individually labeled D or USB Flash drive, not exceeding 3 min. Formation Teams 4 min. Pro-Am International Style = ISTD or DF Pro-Am American Style = Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray, DF, DVIDA, NDA, or the Social Syllabus of any recognized Professional Association. Pro-Am & Amateur Am./ Int. closed one dance events are restricted syllabus competitions. Pro-Am & Amateur American/ International OPEN one dance events (ONLY) are not restricted syllabus competitions but Open Bronze- Open Gold are expected to use a minimum of 30% syllabus content. Lifts will not be permitted in open & closed events. All Professional competitions are recognized by the DF. Professional ompetitors must be registered with DF(anada) and with NDA(U.S.A.). If a Prof. category has 3 couples or less competing, the cash price will be reduced to one-half. All amateur competitors must be registered with their respective association. No video taping will be allowed. There will be a professional video company for your convenience. ancellations: The deadline for entries and cancellation without penalty is Dec. 22, After this date there will be a $50.00 cancellation fee. No refunds at the door for entries or tickets. Room cancellations require a 72 hr. notice. There will be no substituting of students during this event.
