3 Action Pistol Our November Action Pistol Match saw 62 great competitors show up to find chilly temperatures and enough wind to test our creativity for keeping the props and targets upright. To everyone s delight, or not, the Texas Star on Bay 1 tested those front sight and moving target skills. The plates and pins again magically got smaller with every miss! The applause, the support, and the laughter make that a fun bay no matter what. Bay 2 challenged our shooters with steel, a swinging blocker, going through the door, hitting them on the move and finally, aim small, miss small. A little bit of everything to test an Action Pistol shooter s skills. Once again Tom Turkey made his appearance and instead of being rescued, a Thanksgiving Dinner was served on Bay 3. It was fun to watch what happens when faced with multi-tasking under pressure. Hey, you forgot the turkey! Thanks to the hard work of an amazing group of competitors and volunteers, another great match wrapped up with grilled dogs and fixings for lunch, two more batches of Mamiko s famous brownies and, of course, the door prizes. The next and final match of 2016 will be December 17th. Mark it on your calendar! Information on the Action Pistol matches can be found at Match Results can be found at 3
