1 Angle Vale Football Club Newsletter Issue 6 April 9th 2015 Round 1 - Angle Vale vs Flinders Uni Our Senior Men s Teams will begin their 2015 Season this Saturday, 11th April. Angle Vale vs Flinders Uni, being played at our Home ground on Fradd Road - Reserves play at 12.15pm and A Grade from 2.15pm. If you have time come out and support our boys take on their first match at home, join us on Saturday, don t forget to wear your club colours. Canteen facilities available. This Thursday Night from 7.30pm our Senior Men s teams will be presented with their Guernsey s and Captain/Vice Captain s announced. Meals will be available BBQ plate for $10, everyone welcome, come and meet this years Senior Men s Players!! Senior Men s News Congratulations lads, we have made our way to Round 1. We take on Flinders Uni at home and boy is it set to be a big day!

We all know we have come a long way, but let s not get ahead of ourselves. We still need to put together 4 quarters of pressure on pressure football.

We are AN- GLE VALE and we play as a team with 21 contributors. Saturday Night I d expect to see you all at the clubrooms to help celebrate Jarred Tillett s upcoming Marriage.

Don t be shy come along and have a beer. Let s make it a great night and kick off 2015 with a few wins and a great night together. Good luck men, let s go OWL S!

Yes we have put in the yards, but not until after 5pm Saturday are we going to have any indication on where we are as a club and team. We all know we have come a long way, but let s not get ahead of ourselves. We still need to put together 4 quarters of pressure on pressure football. We need to turn up as a team and play together as a team to achieve what we have set out to do. We are not and never will be individuals or rely on individual efforts. Make sure all players have arranged Registration payment before Round 1- see Kristy ASAP last week before Round 1 begins this Saturday 11th April. Player Sponsors - We know subs can be expensive! Why not get somebody else to pay them? Get a player sponsor form off Rob, hit up you boss, parents, in-laws, friends or that takeaway place you see each night and get them involved. They don't need to pay all the Subs, every little bit helps! ARE YOU OVER 15?? WANT TO EARN SOME OWL MONEY/CASH PAYMENT?? The Men s Senior sides are chasing dedicated individuals for the following positions: Water boys Boundary umpires Goal umpires These are paid positions, possibly Owl Money and/or Cash payment provided!
