1 Liechtenstein Open International Amateur Championship 2018 September, 7 th 9 th The Principality of Liechtenstein is located in the border triangle of Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Therefore, we have decided to play this year's Liechtenstein Open Amateur Championship (men s and ladies) around the borders of our small country Liechtenstein on three different courses over 54 holes. Under the motto "3 Countries 1 Championship" this tournament is a WAGR ranked event and certainly unique in the EGA tournament calendar because the winner has to fight his way through three countries! I. Venue Liechtenstein Open International Amateur Championship 2018 Men s & Ladies Golf Courses: Bodensee Weissensberg, Germany, Montfort Rankweil, Austria Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, II. Date September, 7 th 9 th 2018 III. Conditions A) 54 holes of stroke play (3 rounds) men s from Champions Tees 54 holes of stroke play (3 rounds) ladies from Ladies Champions Tees Friday 7 th September, 1 st Round Bodensee Weissensberg Saturday 8 th September, 2 nd Round Montfort Rankweil Sunday 9 th September, 3 rd Round Bad Ragaz After two rounds there will be a cut: Best 60 scores (including ties) in Men's category and best 20 scores (including ties) in Ladies category will proceed to the 3 rd round. In the event of a tie for first place, the winner will be decided by a hole-by-hole playoff. For any further tie, the winners will be decided based on the final stipulated 36, 18, 9, 6, 3 holes or last hole, in that order.

2 B) The Championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by R&A, the Liechtenstein Golf Association Hard Card, the General Conditions of Competition, with the Local Rules approved by the Championship Committee. IV. Eligibility Amateurs men and women, who are member of a club, which is affiliated to an association recognized by the EGA or IGF. V. Limit of exact handicap and entries 120 Competitors shall be eligible to compete. 90 Men with an exact handicap of 18,0 or better and 30 Ladies with an exact handicap of 18,0 or better, certified by the respective Handicap authority and must be validated on the date of entry. If the number of entries exceeds 120, places in the starting field will be decided by the Handicap ballot. Exemptions The following will be exempt from the ballot provided they satisfy the handicap requirements: Ten (10) players as nominated by the Liechtenstein Golf Association. VI. Prizes Sunday, September 9 th Prize Giving Ceremony The Prize Giving Ceremony will be held about 30 minutes after conclusion of play. 1st, 2 nd and 3 rd place Liechtenstein Open International Amateur Men s Championship 1st, 2 nd and 3 rd place Liechtenstein Open International Amateur Ladies Championship

Entries Entries must be made via the official website of the Liechtenstein Golf Association ( Liechtenstein Golf Association must receive fully completed Entry Form until Friday, August 31, 2018, no later than 6 p.m. IX. Entry Fee Payment: 1. Registration All Players must register via the official website of the Liechtenstein Golf Association ( Liechtenstein Golf Association must receive fully completed Entry Form until Friday, August 31, 2018, no later than 6 p.m. Entry Fees must be transferred before Tuesday, September 4 th A competitor who does not register up to this time and or we did not receive the entry fee in time, is liable to be withdrawn from the championship. XII. Practice Round Practice rounds can be played in advance of the tournament. Tee times have to be reserved, after registration, directly with the secretariat of the respective club. The clubs will offer special discounted green fees for the practice rounds. XIII.
