12 This is your Captain speaking MARCH 2018 The time has come; it is with sadness & joy, which I hand the Club over to our Incoming Captain, Mok Lazaro. It has been a privilege for me to serve as Captain of Free State Nomads. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee and all Free State Nomads, for their unwavering support; there was never a moment when anything I asked of you was too much! 13 From the Match Secretary March 2018 The Total No of players for March, was 48, included were in the field were Guests 4, Pros 3, and 41 Nomads! Best of all was that the Weather played ball with us. The average score for the Day was Handicapping: only 6 will be cut; no change for 22 and 13 gained! Congratulations to the Winners, Champ of the Day and A Division Winner - Ferdi Wesso 35 points off 3 handicap, B Division Winner Johnny Moore, Points 34 - handicap 14 on a count out from Runner- Up Charles van den Blink, also 34 and handicap 14, C Division and Winner of the Old Topples Trophy Herman Braam, Points 33 and Handicap 24 The best prize of all is the Matchbox, Winner Barney Lindeque Points 15 H/C 13, Barney, did you leave your best Game in the Cape!
