1 Chesdin Chatter Developer s Forum April 2016 Neighbors, Once again news on the cell tower activation with Verizon and Comcast are priority for our neighborhood! That being said, Verizon is still saying everything will be operational by April 30th. Comcast is still shooting for the same time line. Both have spent 90% of the install cost, just need final few components to come together. I am sorry for the constant bait & switch on the time line but it is what they are telling us. Please don t shoot the messenger. We will be bringing on 8 new waterfront lots, all over three acres with beautiful views. Please tell a friend if they are interested in Richmond s only full service lake community. Valley Crest/Bergman is our roadway grass cutting company. It has become all but impossible for the crews to tell which homeowners want the crews to skip their yards therefore they will be cutting all road areas when they are here. Homeowners property inspections are still in progress so please make sure you are in compliance. Please submit all exterior architectural changes to ARB for review prior to commencing. 5 Chesdin Landing Women s Association Thanks to Carissa Carter for designing this perfect logo for CLWA! The next CLWA meting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12th, 7:00 PM at the clubhouse. Bring your ideas for the Oktoberfest golf tournament, to raise funds to provide family events for Chesdin Landing. Thanks to everyone who sent in eggs, baked goods and brought their children out to enjoy our annual Family Easter Party. We had almost 50 children find over 550 treat filled eggs as well as enjoy a cake walk, cookie decorating, crafts, face painting, piñatas and of course pictures with the Easter Bunny!! 14 Dear Chesdin Neighbors, The OB GATES ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PTA needs your help! On Friday April 29, 2016, we will be hosting our Shooting Par For Gates Stars Silent Auction and Golf Tournament. WE NEED PLAYERS! Please come out and support this event. Invite your friends and family to play! It is our biggest fundraiser of the year for our school. Monies raised will go to capital improvements to our playground including benches, picnic tables and a covered pavilion. Monies will also go to our Art department, Technology and our Scholastic Book Room. The tournament will be an 18-hole scramble format with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at 12 pm., and there will be a dinner and Silent Auction at 6pm. The Band Class 5 will be our entertainment. The cost to play is $ per player and $ per team or if you just want to enjoy dinner and dancing it is $25.00 per person PRIOR TO APRIL 8.
