ENGHIEN - 8th July Trainer of the day : Laurent-Claude Abrivard (215, 205, 701) Jockey of the day : Eric Raffin (110, 406, 612, 709) Horse of the day : Cicero Noa (515) Dark Horse : Délice du Wallon (112) Race 1 1. DIABOLO DE JOUDES - Still a maiden from 36 and no realistic chance of troubling the judge 2. DONALD D'OCCAGNES - Respectable type that just recently made an unsuccessful re-entry and looks to need another run 3. DOYOLSA DE CHENU - Showed a lot of promise last year but less effective this season. Surprised at Vincennes mid-june when barefoot for the first time and should again acquit herself competitively 4. DUMBLEDORE - Has enjoyed something of a renaissance since going barefoot. Surprisingly sanctioned at Vincennes under harness two weeks ago but was dynamic on his ridden debut and legitimately bids to confirm

5. DESIREE DES FORGES - Has demonstrated some aptitude for this branch of the game but will struggle to make any impact on this occasion 6. DAKAR DU RIB - Has enjoyed a fruitful streak this year and although disqualified last time he still looks to have a lot to offer 7. DUNE DE MALIKEN - In the mix for the most part and latterly third to Doyolsa De Chenu. Minor place chance 8. DRAGON CLEMAXELLE - Very ordinary on both appearances under the saddle and should again have his work cut out 9. DARLING BLUE - Occasionally tricky but already has a Class A to her name. Second start back and should be able to make a big impact 10. DISCO DES MOLANDS - Fine trotter that has raced and placed at a higher level. Quickly sanctioned last time but unshod behind on this occasion and can play a leading role 11. DREAM TURGOT - Moderate sort that made no impact on his ridden debut six days ago and can be passed over 12. DELICE DU WALLON - Nothing short of impressive since the start of the year. Beat Disco Des Molands in a Class B late May. Has had time to freshen up and looks a possible spoiler Some fine elements in this field with (4) DUMBLEDORE sure to garner significant support based on his impressively successful ridden debut early last month. He can expect to encounter resistance though from the classy (10) DISCO DES MOLANDS who has a lot of improvement left in him. (6) DAKAR DU RIB has been firing on all cylinders over the past few months and again looks a player, although he will need to be wary of Class A winner (9) DARLING BLUE who makes her second start back. (4) DUMBLEDORE - (10) DISCO DES MOLANDS - (6) DAKAR DU RIB - (9) DARLING BLUE

Race 2 1. ETOILE DU PERCHE - Won twice. Sanctioned twice. In better company this time but with stride in check should still acquit herself honourably 2. ETERNELLE DELO - Winner of two from five and latterly with ease at Caen. A similar performance would see her finish in the frame 3. ESSENZA GWEN - Looked very solid early on. Sent for a spell after two blips and comes here fresh with a legitimate chance of finishing in the money 4. EPONA DE DAIDOU - Kicked off her career with a double before failing to fire at Vincennes. Reassured when third to Effigie Madrik at Caen last time and should again make her presence felt 5. EMMY JOYEUSE - Complicated sort but has ample ability. Caught the eye last time despite the sanction and if applied can play an important role 6. ELEGANTE MIKA - Turned a corner in the last two months with a pair of victories. Courageous last time at Reims and should again figure prominently 7. EUROPA BLUE - Well-campaigned type that would have finished in the money last time had she not lost her action. Again in good company and if behaved can make the first five 8. ELIZALDE VRIE - Undeniably useful but appears to have lost her way and others preferred on this occasion 9. EXTREME BILKIE - Useful trotter that fell foul of the stewards last time but is not devoid of ability and must be worth a small consideration 10. ERABELLA MADRIK - Has progressed very nicely since her debut and although disqualified at Vincennes eight days ago she can get a look in if applied 11. ESTONIE DU SKY - Acquits herself well for the most part but unthreatening since her return and not an obvious choice 12. ECLAIRCIE D'ATOUT - Good consistent filly that sprang a minor surprise when third at Vincennes last time but is unlikely to repeat 13. EMPREINTE D'URZY - Regularly in the thick of things and not disgraced at Vincennes last time out. Minor place chance this time 14. ELECTRA WIND - Made the frame just once from 17 this year and can be confidently overlooked 15. EFFIGIE MADRIK - Winner of all three starts to date. Makes her Parisian debut with every chance of maintaining her perfect status (15) EFFIGIE MADRIK makes her debut going left-handed but should not be

inconvenienced and is expected to stay unbeaten. If however the capricious (5) EMMY JOYEUSE can stay in stride she can give her a run for her money. (2) ETERNELLE DELO gave a fine account when winning at Caen last time and another big performance looks to be on the cards. The talented (3) ESSENZA GWEN returns from a brief spell and should be able to give this a good go. (15) EFFIGIE MADRIK - (5) EMMY JOYEUSE - (2) ETERNELLE DELO - (3) ESSENZA GWEN

Race 3 1. ARCHANGEL AM - Enjoyed a rewarding winter but disappointing since the start of the year and can be ruled out 2. BLOOMA D'HERIPRE - Mare with bags of talent but is sanctioned more often than not and will be hard to trust 3. BRUNE DES FORGES - Boasts a good record over course and distance and won here mid-june in a decent time. Minor place prospect 4. BEGUM FROMENTRO - Useful under harness but better in ridden competition and can be passed over this time 5. CERE JOSSELYN - Completely off the boil in her last four. Shoes on once again and not in the reckoning 6. UNERO MONTAVAL - Has significant ability but is seldom on show these days and will have his work cut out 7. OPITERGIUM - Got back in the game when third to Uza Josselyn late last month. Should appreciate this flat track even more and not to be underestimated 8. GLEN ORD SUPERB - Yet to win since leaving Norway but has twice acquitted himself well lately and should be good enough to finish in the mix 9. BEST BUISSONAY - Delicate but has considerable talent. Reassured at Vincennes last time and with application should again make the first five 10. ULEXA DES PLANS - Nothing of note on her formsheet since late last autumn and will have nothing to offer 11. UZA JOSSELYN - Good class of mare that has been exceptional this season. Only beaten by Afghan Barbes at Vincennes two weeks ago and looks the pick this time 12. ZONGULDAK - Respectable sort when applied but races fully shod this time and not an obvious choice 13. BAD BOY DU DOLLAR - Seldom disappoints when going barefoot. Won his last appearance over course and distance and in present condition should figure prominently 14. VIOLINE MOUROTAISE - Back in business over the last six weeks. Consistently effective at this level and should improve on her recent fourth in the race of reference 15. ATOUT DU LERRE - Hardy type that is enjoying a change in fortune. Third in a G.III at Reims last month but the extra 25m will do his chances no favours 16. ALIENOR DE GODREL - No stranger to group-level racing but has not been particularly effective since his comeback and can be ignored

17. ARLINGTON DREAM - Morphed into a high-class sort under the saddle and although no slouch with a sulky he will have too much to find (11) UZA JOSSELYN is a mare with an enviable strike rate and the nature of her second place to Afghan Barbes last time augurs well for her chances. She will however be pitted against the reinvigorated (14) VIOLINE MOUROTAISE who finished two places back on that occasion. (13) BAD BOY DU DOLLAR consistently gives a good account and can make the frame this time, however he can expect opposition from (7) OPITERGIUM who finished third in the race of reference, and the delicate but capable (9) BEST BUISSONAY. (11) UZA JOSSELYN - (14) VIOLINE MOUROTAISE - (13) BAD BOY DU DOLLAR - (7) OPITERGIUM - (9) BEST BUISSONAY - (8) GLEN ORD SUPERB - (3) BRUNE DES FORGES - (15) ATOUT DU LERRE

Race 4 1. EAGLE - Regularly acquits himself well but a place in the first five looks marginally beyond his reach 2. EVEREST VEDAQUAIS - High-class colt that struggled with stride problems at the end of last season. Has had time to get himself together and with stride in check should win this 3. EASY DES RACQUES - Beginning to come good again. Runner-up to Eros Du Chene in the Prox Albert Viel late June and can be assured support 4. EURO DU CHENE - Talented colt that has been struggling since the start of the year but is good enough to finish in the money provided he can keep his action together 5. ELITE DU RUEL - Made good progress in her last two and latterly a valiant third in the race of reference. Place chance 6. ELEA MADRIK - Multiple group winner that was never at her ease in the G.I Prix Albert Viel two weeks ago. Raffin entrusted with the drive this time which could make all the difference. Claim 7. ERIDAN - Went into his winter break on the back of a G.II win by default. Has not been seen out for six months though and will need the run 8. EMPEREUR THE BEST - Another delicate Allaire colt but well-regarded. Can make a big impact if he can stay in stride 9. ECLIPSE LUCERNAISE - Currently in good shape but first time at this level and looks to have bitten off more than she can chew 10. HAMBO TRANSS R - Left quite the impression in a G.III at Vincennes last month on French debut and again expected to play a leading role 11. ESPOIR DES VAUX - Useful sort making his first appearance for five months and is expected to need the outing (2) EVEREST VEDAQUAIS is by some margin the classiest horse in the field although he does have baggage. Given time to mature, Allaire brings him back and with application should have this wrapped up. (10) HAMBO TRANSS R's recent G.III success at Vincennes was particularly eye-catching and a repeat performance should worry the favourite's entourage. William Bigeon passes the reins to Raffin after (6) ELEA MADRIK's disappointment in the G.I Prix Albert Viel and the move is expected to pay dividends. (3) EASY DES RACQUES finished second that day and can again finish in the mix.

(2) EVEREST VEDAQUAIS - (10) HAMBO TRANSS R - (6) ELEA MADRIK - (3) EASY DES RACQUES

Race 5 1. CADEAU DE NOEL - Very disappointing in both appearances since his long layoff and has no realistic chance 2. BIKINI - Capable trotter but dependability not his strong suit. Not a great fan of Enghien and chances limited 3. BORGINIO - Very hard to fault at present. Steps up in class but should nonetheless give a competitive account 4. BOIS DU BOSNET - Has acquitted himself well for the most part this year but in better company this time and must raise his game 5. CAPITAL CHARM - Has considerable ability but still rather special. Won his penultimate start at Caen and on similar form can make a big impact 6. COTE OUEST - Put in some fine performances earlier in the year but makes his comeback fully shod and others preferred this time 7. CAID - Nothing to prove at this level of competition. Suffered interference in the race of reference and should logically make amends 8. COMTE DU VIVIER - In the frame in four of his last five. Third to Cicero Noa here three weeks ago and has every chance of repeating 9. CHILKOOT TRAIL - Handy sort but not always the most reliable. Below par last time but still not to be overlooked 10. BOB DE PEBRISY - Has been acquitting himself decently in recent months and should be good enough to make the first five 11. CRISTAL RIVER - Seldom far from the action but lost his action in two of his last four and needs to get his house in order 12. CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - Got back down to business at Vincennes on his second start back and with hind shoes off again looks dangerous 13. CAPTAIN SPARROW - Previously a good sort but lost his way last autumn. Unraced since March and offers little hope 14. COLIBRI DE LARRE - Has proved considerably more effective in the claiming division and appears to have nothing to offer 15. CICERO NOA - Has turned a corner since racing barefoot. Winner of his last three and latterly in fine fashion over shorter here. Has good speed and looks the pick of the field 16. BUTCH CASSIDY - Fine type in the other code and has no realistic chance in this event

(15) CICERO NOA has never been in better shape and the four-timer looks a distinct possibility. On paper (5) CAPITAL CHARM's prospects appear limited but he is a serious trotter and if applied can play a leading role. (12) CHOCOLAT DU BOURG reassured connections last time at Vincennes and realistically bids to confirm. (8) COMTE DU VIVIER's third place behind the favourite last month did not go unnoticed and he looks a solid place chance once again. (10) BOB DE PEBRISY is enjoying a productive run and is the best of the rest. (15) CICERO NOA - (5) CAPITAL CHARM - (12) CHOCOLAT DU BOURG - (8) COMTE DU VIVIER - (10) BOB DE PEBRISY

Race 6 1. DEXTER FROMENTRO - Often shows a lack of discipline but not short of ability. Full of running when disqualified at Vincennes last time but if behaved can get a look in 2. DEFI DE MEMARTIN - Erratic sort that has previously imposed here but latest form does little to inspire confidence 3. DELICE ANGEVIN - Complicated type that appears to be back on track. Came a cropper at Saint-Brieuc but with application can make his presence felt 4. DROP DE COLLEVILLE - Fine sort that returned to winning ways at Laval ten days ago and makes his Enghien debut with a good chance of confirming 5. DANSEUR SOMOLLI - Colt with considerable potential. Sanctioned in both appearances this year but can make a small impact provided he can keep his action together 6. DAYBREAK - Gives a good account for the most part when applied. Won a Class E at Vire last week and although stepping up in class should still acquit himself respectably 7. DEFI CALENDES - Found his way early March and latterly won here over shorter. Comes in fresh and despite racing shod he must be worth a small consideration 8. DAZIO BEST - Capable colt making steady but slow progress. Beat Duc Du Gers at Vincennes last time and will be one to note 9. DREAM DES MARAIS - Still a maiden from 18 but encouraged when third behind Dino Du Riler at Vincennes late June when barefoot for the first time. Shoes off again and not to be underestimated 10. DJAB D'ACIER - Not short of ability but below par in his last three and must reaffirm 11. DAY TO DAY - Delicate but otherwise very rewarding. Has previously won over course and distance and if applied should figure prominently 12. DUC DU GERS - Looked a serious horse last year and is confirmed under these conditions. Beginning to get back in the game but with shoes on is no more than a minor place chance 13. DINO DU RILER - Has turned a corner since going unshod all four. Runnerup in last three but can go one better this time 14. DUSTY WOOD - Complicated type but has won the last two races he has finished. Returns to harness racing with a reasonable chance provided he can stay in stride 15. DORIAN DE SOUVIGNE - Useful colt that made an encouraging comeback

here mid-june and a similar effort would see him in the mix at the finish 16. DIAMS DE BASSIERE - Lost his way earlier in the year and has done nothing to reassure from two this term. Disregard (4) DROP DE COLLEVILLE has shown considerable talent since his debut last autumn. He returned to winning ways on his second start back and should just have the edge over (13) DINO DU RILER who has been very productive since going unshod all four. (11) DAY TO DAY is a delicate sort but when applied seldom disappoints and looks a solid place chance. If (15) DORIAN DE SOUVIGNE can repeat his comeback performance there should be a cheque in it for him, but he will still need to keep an eye on (12) DUC DU GERS who is nearing his best. (4) DROP DE COLLEVILLE - (13) DINO DU RILER - (11) DAY TO DAY - (15) DORIAN DE SOUVIGNE - (12) DUC DU GERS

Race 7 1. BLOOMER - Delicate type that has demonstrated good aptitude for the code and with application can make a big impact 2. BELMISS DES TOURS - Pleased on her first start back under the saddle. Never at her ease next time but worthy of respect nonetheless 3. ARTISTE DU LYS - Regularly in the thick of things in both codes. Did not disappoint at Nantes on Monday and should get a look in 4. BERLIOZ GRIFF - Has failed to make the frame in either code since last autumn and is not about to break the mould 5. BEXLEY - Blows hot and cold. Finished a distant third over track and trip late June but hard to envisage him finishing in the money this time 6. ANGEL PERRINE - Just one ridden race under his belt from three this term but is no slouch and must be worth a small consideration 7. A NICE COOL - Presently in good shape but has few references in the code and is unlikely to influence the outcome 8. BAMBOLINA - Has made good progress in recent months but has done nothing of note under the saddle for some time and can be passed over 9. BACCHUS D'ELA - Serious trotter that has been in good shape all year. Makes his ridden debut but eminently capable of imposing with Eric Raffin on his back 10. AMIGO LAND - Undeniably useful in ridden competition but sanctioned in his last three which does nothing to inspire trust 11. BAHAMAS QUICK - Confirmed in both disciplines and should play a leading role if she can maintain stride 12. ANGE GARDIEN JUAN - Previously a good sort under the saddle but no longer the horse of old and appears to have his work cut out 13. AMI - Rarely seen out in this branch of the game but rarely disappoints and with hind shoes off for the occasion looks a decent place chance 14. ALIUM DE TAGOR - Gives a good account for the most part and with shoes off this time can play an important role (9) BACCHUS D'ELA has left no doubt as to his current form and with Eric Raffin on board he could well strike on his ridden debut. The complicated (1) BLOOMER was highly impressive last weekend and a similar effort would see him challenge for the win. (11) BAHAMAS QUICK is similarly delicate but has

talent in spades and is not incapable of imposing either. (14) ALIUM DE TAGOR is barefoot for the first time this year which could prove key to his redemption. (9) BACCHUS D'ELA - (1) BLOOMER - (11) BAHAMAS QUICK - (14) ALIUM DE TAGOR

Race 8 1. DIANA DU PECH - Erratic trotter but gave a decent account last time over course and distance and will have her supporters 2. DIVA MESLINOISE - Sanctioned more often than not but is a filly with considerable means and although making her comeback she has a good draw and the wherewithal to impose 3. DARLA BILOU - Gave two fine accounts before flopping here last week. Shoes back on but a possible first-five candidate all the same 4. DIVINE D'ECROVILLE - Has failed to make the first three in her last seven starts and can expect little support 5. DARLING MERITE - Filly with a lot of capacity. Has been prepared for this race and going barefoot for the first time can only enhance her good prospects 6. DIVA DU VERGER - Put in some good performances this year. Left quite the impression at Caen last time and is not incapable of challenging for the win 7. DONA STAR - Yet to break her maiden status from 14 starts. Is not entirely without merit but others preferred this time 8. DARLING HARBOUR - Consistent type that has never once been out of the first five. Breaks from the wide outside but still a decent place chance 9. DANAE DE NAPPES - Beginning to make up for lost time but returns to racing shod and can be passed over 10. DRAGONNE GINYU - Occasionally shows her good side but too infrequently to warrant much support 11. DIANE DU NORD - A changed horse since racing unshod all four. Beat her personal best at Parilly last month and will be one to note 12. DROLEMENT JOLIE - Came into herself this spring. Finished on the cusp in her last two and the association with Raffin will do her chances no harm 13. DESTINEE DE CONDE - Moderate sort that has yet to leave her mark at this level and is not about to buck the trend 14. DIVA LATINA - Won with style at Vichy late last month and can make a big impact provided she can overcome the tough draw 15. DOPAMINE JIJI - Very consistent for the most part and although confirmed in this class will not find it the easiest of tests Although delicate (2) DIVA MESLINOISE has a lot of talent and is not incapable of striking first time back. She will however be up against (5) DARLING MERITE

who is unshod all four for the first time. (6) DIVA DU VERGER had her measure at Caen last time and should again give a competitive account. (8) DARLING HARBOUR has proved she is no pushover either and looks to have a good hand to play. (2) DIVA MESLINOISE - (5) DARLING MERITE - (6) DIVA DU VERGER - (8) DARLING HARBOUR

NANTES - 8th July Trainer of the day : Henri-Alex Pantall (202, 401, 406, 502, 607) Jockey of the day : Pierre-Charles Boudot (102, 202, 406, 502, 605, 707) Horse of the day : Black Max (502) Dark Horse : Russian Way (304) Race 1 1. He can progress further and gets the verdict in the opener. (4) COMPULSORY was behind him in fifth place in that race but could get closer today. (8) HELLO PRINCESS and (7) REBEL QUEEN can make the frame.

(2) MONARGENT - (4) COMPULSORY - (8) HELLO PRINCESS - (7) REBEL QUEEN

Race 2 1. EMELINA BELLA - Carries top weight here after an easy four length win in a maiden at Corlay last time out 2. LIBERTY RIDE - In good form at present and must be respected after a close second in a Class E race at Ebray last month 3. FIRST MATE - Disappointing in two starts since winning on his debut at Durtal in April 4. GREAT TONIO - Well beaten in a maiden here last time out and will need to improve on that 5. MISTER O'KEN - Decent third in a handicap at Les Sables last time out and place prospects again today 6. URBAN RIVER - Has shown some improvement in his last two starts and needs to show more today 7. LADY KYRIA - Third in two handicaps at Maisons-Laffitte last month and can be in the mix again today 8. CATCH THE WIND - Unplaced in all three career starts and others preferred here today 9. NGENDHA - Ran well in a handicap at Les Sables recently and on a low weight at the moment Although still a maiden after seven starts (7) LADY KYRIA was a close third in a handicap at Maisons-Laffitte last time out and is well handicapped here. She is the selection to break her maiden tag today. (2) LIBERTY RIDE and (1) EMELINA BELLA are both in good form and look the main dangers. (5) MISTER O'KEN is next best. (7) LADY KYRIA - (2) LIBERTY RIDE - (1) EMELINA BELLA - (5) MISTER O'KEN

He gets a tentative vote ahead of (5) HISTORY DREAM who was a comfortable winner of a Class G claimer here over this distance last month. (9) ETOLE D'ANJOU and (1) DESERTO are two more to consider. (4) RUSSIAN WAY - (5) HISTORY DREAM - (9) ETOLE D'ANJOU - (1) DESERTO

She is likely to improve from that run and is the selection to maintain her unbeaten career start. (2) QUEEN OF SABA is a course winner here and must be respected. (5) ASCOT DAY and (6) HOLY ROMANE are next best. (1) LIGHT SPIRIT - (2) QUEEN OF SABA - (5) ASCOT DAY - (6) HOLY ROMANE

He is a dual course and distance winner here and can maintain his 100% record here today. (4) ROYAL JULIUS and (1) PRINCESS GIBRALTAR are both well capable at this level and must be respected. (3) MAXIMUM AURELIUS is next best. (2) BLACK MAX - (4) ROYAL JULIUS - (1) PRINCESS GIBRALTAR - (3) MAXIMUM AURELIUS

Race 6 1. FAUGUERNON - Improving all the time and won a Class 1 race at Toulouse last time out 2. HIPODAMO DE MILETO - Has won three times in Spain but faces better opposition here today 3. He looks progressive and can continue on his winning ways today. (1) FAUGUERNON is another one on the upgrade and looks the main danger to the selection. ROCNA - Won a Class G handicap here early last month but faces better opposition today (1) HOLDGREEN gets a 3.5 Kg penalty for his easy last time out success in a Class G handicap at Bordeaux. He is great form at the moment and is the selection to defy the penalty. The consistent (6) VINY is on a fair handicap mark at present and is a danger. (10) ATILLA and (7) ZILLINO are two more for the short list. (1) HOLDGREEN - (6) VINY - (10) ATILLA - (7) ZILLINO

CLAIREFONTAINE - 8th July Trainer of the day : Mikel Delzangles (308, 404, 702) Jockey of the day : Raphaël Marchelli (212, 308, 702) Horse of the day : Scarlett Lady (308) Dark Horse : Jules et Jim (502) Race 1 1. FRANKED - The son of Frankel has been disappointing so far and needs to improve 2. ZAHID - Decent effort when third of six to Breton March on his debut at Compiegne last month 3. PESK EBREL - Has not shown enough on his two runs to date to suggest he has a chance here 4. VENENO - Well beaten seventh behind Ajaccio on his debut at Chantilly last month 5. DELAVEINE - Needs to improve from his debut run here eight days ago to feature today 6. FAST BUCK - Fifth on his reappearance at La Teste Buch last month and plenty to do here 7. DURANNE - Well beaten last of six behind Londres on his debut at Compiegne last month 8. GREAT DREAM - Unplaced on his debut at Morlaix last month and others preferred here today 9. BOUNDERBY - Placed in both of his starts to date and looks the main Fabre contender in this race 10. OKMAN DES MOTTES - Ran a bit green at Compiegne on his debut a couple of weeks ago. Likely to find a few too good here 11. OUT OF IDEAS - Has not run since last August when unplaced on his debut at Deauville 12. ILHABELA FACT - Two promising runs so far and one for consideration here today 13. PENSHURST - Runner up in both career starts to date and place prospects again today 14. BOY ROYAL - Second on his debut at Saint-Brieuc in March but a stiffer test

here 15. MONDO BELLO - Well beaten second behind the impressive Parabellum at Saint-Cloud last month but respected here 16. MONT DORE - Runner up in all three career starts and might have to settle for a place again today 17. NOM DE FAMILLE - Unplaced in both starts to date and needs to improve to feature here 18. HIGHEST SUN - By Sunday Break and is the second foal to run out of a dam that won five times over fences (15) MONDO BELLO was a well beaten second behind the impressive Parabellum at Saint-Cloud last month. He is unlikely to face anything as good today and is the selection to break his maiden tag today. The consistent (16) MONT DORE could make it a one two for Chappet. (12) ILHABELA FACT and (9) BOUNDERBY are next best. (15) MONDO BELLO - (16) MONT DORE - (12) ILHABELA FACT - (9) BOUNDERBY - (2) ZAHID

Race 2 1. KEN TAH TEN - Gets a 2 Kg penalty today for his win in a Class G handicap at Croise-Laroche eleven days ago 2. HONORIUS QUERCUS - A little disappointing at Craon last time out but was in good form before that 3. MADENCIA - Unplaced in all three starts this year but is sliding back down the handicap 4. NAOUSA - Just one start this year when unplaced at Compiegne in March and hard to recommend today 5. SWING GLAZ - Needs to improve on his recent run at Craon if he is going to figure here 6. NO RUN NO PAY - Still a maiden after twelve starts but respected here off a fair handicap mark 7. LULU A LOME - Unplaced in a Class G handicap at Dieppe last month and needs to improve 8. CALAJANI - Had some decent form early last year but has lost his way since then 9. TOUCH OF CHARM - Still a maiden after twelve starts but has been placed in seven of them and not ruled out here 10. JE SUIS CHARLIE - On a reasonable handicap mark at the moment but might find a few too good today 11. DOSTOYEVSKY - Has had a couple of decent efforts at Maisons-Laffitte this year. Place prospects today 12. MISS FUISSE - Back on a fair handicap mark at the moment and not without a chance today 13. PARK SQUARE - Has won two hurdle races this year but needs to improve on his flat form 14. SHE'S A LIGHTNING - Outclassed in a Class B race at Deauville nine days ago and hard to recommend on her handicap debut (12) MISS FUISSE has been showing signs of a return to form lately. Off what looks a fair handicap mark at the moment she gets the vote at what should be good odds. (9) TOUCH OF CHARM and (6) NO RUN NO PAY are both maidens but are well handicapped at present and cannot be discounted. (1) KEN TAH TEN can make the frame.

(12) MISS FUISSE - (9) TOUCH OF CHARM - (6) NO RUN NO PAY - (1) KEN TAH TEN

Race 3 1. CANNDERA - Finished third on her last two runs for big connections and will be fancied 2. LA PETITE MARYE - Well beaten on debut and would need to show marked improvement 3. BARRANCAS - Showed promise on debut at Toulouse and should come on for that 4. THIS GIRL - Finished third on debut at Compiegne and should reap the benefit of that experience 5. PRESIDENTE LINE - Two placed runs and just touched off at Chateaubriant last time 6. ROSE BLANCHE - Fourth on debut at Compiegne last time and will look to do better again 7. CERCLE DE LA VIE - Seventh on both starts but one suspects there is more to come 8. SCARLETT LADY - Both runs at Maisons-Laffitte finishing runner up on debut and then fourth. Step up in trip to suit 9. GAMBIA BIRD - Should improve for debut at Saint Cloud in May but would have to 10. BUBBLE RANI - Placed in three of her four runs and will be winning some day 11. PALMA JELOIS - Newcomer who is best watched for the future and possibly in handicaps There is a lot to like about the chances of (8) SCARLETT LADY in this maiden for stayers. Her sire is Nathaniel who is a huge influence for stamina and this one is stepping up in trip today following two very promising efforts over shorter. She looks good. (6) ROSE BLANCHE can take the runner up spot ahead of both (10) BUBBLE RANI and (1) CANNDERA. (8) SCARLETT LADY - (6) ROSE BLANCHE - (10) BUBBLE RANI - (1) CANNDERA

Race 4 1. ROYAL DOLOIS - Grand sort who has won eight from forty three and always respected 2. CHEF DE TROUPE - Triple winner from fourteen and continues to progress well 3. TAMELLY - One win from four last year and may have needed reappearance 4. QATARI GOLD - Has won two of his six and is a very big player here indeed 5. SPIRIT'S REVENCH - It has been a while since the last of his five wins so more needed 6. ACADEMIC - Dual winner from twelve including last time out at Tarbes 7. HOT MOMENTS - Triple winner from eight but still a lot on in this company 8. ROGUE RUNNER - Three time winner from thirteen and made a good return at Lyon Parilly 9. WILD HORSE - Triple winner from nine but needs to up it against some of these 10. ROUXEVILLE - Dual winner from seven and could not be ruled out of another 11. LA BOHEME - Both runs in May last year winning the second of those This is a really decent conditions event and the one that looks ahead of the opposition is the still improving (4) QATARI GOLD who hails from the Mikel Dezanglez yard and with normal luck should take care of the reliable (1) ROYAL DOLOIS. Others to look at are (10) ROUXEVILLE and (6) ACADEMIC who have potential for more. (4) QATARI GOLD - (1) ROYAL DOLOIS - (10) ROUXEVILLE - (6) ACADEMIC

Race 5 1. COZ HENT - Very consistent five time winner having missed all of JULES ET JIM - Very lightly raced dual winner from seven runs and huge chance if ready 3. BRISTO CAMINO - Last of nine wins was back in 2015 so needs to buck up ideas 4. DAWN SALUTE - Dual winner in Belgium and once in this country but must do even better 5. ETOILE ESINA - Nineteen runs since her last victory so that is the point of entry coming into this 6. ALL DYNAMITE - Winner who seems best suited to running in Belgium but has each way shout 7. LUSTRE - Four time winner from eighty nine but seems an outsider today 8. LADY PRETORIA - Seventeen time winner no less and looks a contender for another 9. KSAROUNA - Dual winner from sixty two but looks to have very little hope (2) JULES ET JIM will have every chance here if able to recapture even a smidgen of some of his back form in a race that will take little winning in all fairness. The price should be more than reasonable. (8) LADY PRETORIA has won no less than seventeen times already and another is not out of the question. (1) COZ HENT and (5) ETOILE ESINA might not be far away either. (2) JULES ET JIM - (8) LADY PRETORIA - (1) COZ HENT - (5) ETOILE ESINA

Race 6 1. PASSAGE RIMBAUT - Only success came in a claimer at Chantilly and runner up there last time again 2. BARELY LEGAL - Three wins from ten and based on those figures has to be of note here 3. DIWALL - Not too much promise in three outings to date so therefore tossed aside 4. DELICE DU HOULEY - Good strike rate with four from eighteen including at Craon last time 5. POSTMAN - Won at Deauville in January but poor since and now dropped in grade 6. CHARLINELLA - Dual winner from eleven runs but has a bit of work to do 7. DIPSY - Yet to place in four runs and is easy to dismiss to be fair 8. STARLITE EXPRESS - Winner at Munich in May and could be worthy of respect in this 9. PAULAIM - Still a maiden after nine and looks to have little hope again 10. KASJONA - Two fair efforts to date and one for the shortlist in this company 11. GENTLE JAIME - Still a maiden after several starts and looks a huge outsider 12. WIGILL - Winner on the continent but still a lot to find in this contest 13. MAVILLA - Dual winner from nineteen but looks way out of form and discounted 14. ROSECOMB - A maiden in Britain and Belgium and could be an outsider with a chance A few of these have a realistic chance of victory in a pretty poor contest. One that looks stronger than most however is (2) BARELY LEGAL who has a good hit rate and is still relatively unexposed. The price should be workable. (1) PASSAGE RIMBAUT can have a say. (4) DELICE DU HOULEY and (5) POSTMAN would not be surprise winners either. (2) BARELY LEGAL - (1) PASSAGE RIMBAUT - (4) DELICE DU HOULEY - (5)

POSTMAN

Race 7 1. HAMLET DES ILES - Well beaten on debut at Chantilly so a lot to do to have any chance 2. AZAMIX - Still a maiden after six but has shown plenty of decent placed form 3. KING DRALLIV - Just the two fair efforts to date so plenty to prove now 4. MR DYNAMITE - Ninth on debut at Chatillon but that will not suffice here 5. ROUBAIX - Won here last month and can be forgiven latest effort so big shout 6. AVE SOTHIA - Still to win from ten outings so will do well to break duck 7. ROSETE DES BRIERES - She has placed once in six runs and looks well exposed 8. MARGOTEUR - Not too much to shout about in three runs so another that must improve 9. TABOOR - Will have to do better based on the evidence so far to have any hope The pretty clear call here in this claimer has to be (2) AZAMIX. The Azamour colt is still a maiden but has shown enough in six starts to date to suggest he should be good enough to see off main threat (5) ROUBAIX who appears to be by far the best alternative. The latter did finish in front of the selection when they met at Dieppe. (6) AVE SOTHIA and (8) MARGOTEUR look best of the others. (2) AZAMIX - (5) ROUBAIX - (6) AVE SOTHIA - (8) MARGOTEUR

Race 8 1. THEODOR - Still a maiden after eleven and offers little hope again 2. CATCH THE LADY - Just the one piece of form from eleven outings and easy to dismiss 3. VOYAGE ENCHANTE - A huge outsider based on the six outings thus far and the sky could fall in first 4. OURVILLE'S ANDY - Placed once in eight runs and is another that cannot be seriously fancied 5. PARTI PRIS - Just a glimmer in eight outings and would need to start now to collect 6. GAEA - Dual winner from twenty seven runs but is on a downward spiral 7. MISS MARY - Has won two from twenty but form this year is very poor 8. ERNESTINE - Has won twice from twenty seven but is difficult to predict 9. BERGAME - Just the one from twenty one but has been showing a bit lately 10. AMERICAN SUCCESS - Is zero from ten but was runner up in two of last three so not out of this 11. TARTAROS - Zero from nine but runner up in last two so should have big say 12. SCOTTISH SUN - Just the one win from forty eight and being kept very busy 13. GARDE A VUE - One win from thirteen and needs to up game at this stage A very tame affair to end proceedings but something has to win it and the chosen one is (11) TARTAROS. The hitherto maiden four year old by Lord Of England has been runner up in his last two tries and might make the breakthrough now. (9) BERGAME looks the best alternative by far. (10) AMERICAN SUCCESS and (12) SCOTTISH SUN can come next. (11) TARTAROS - (9) BERGAME - (10) AMERICAN SUCCESS - (12) SCOTTISH SUN

VICHY - 8th July Trainer of the day : Bruno Bourgoin (115, 709, 812) Driver of the day : Jean-Michel Bazire (115, 304, 411, 512, 709) Horse of the day : Aubrion du Gers (411) Dark Horse : Ave Claude (601) Race 1 1. BELLADONE PHILS - Poor efforts since the turn of the year and best to watch despite all shoes coming off 2. BRUNETTE DU BANNEY - Needs to up her game on last efforts to be worth any consideration 3. BISE - Not devoid of ability but lacks consistency. Never won a race from 39 starts 4. BETTY SOMOLLI - Ultra-consistent mare who outclassed rivals at Marseille. Has claims from front row 5. BRUNE DE LA BASLE - Last good efforts were on turf and looks hard to make a case on current form 6. BARAKA DU LOISIR - Got boxed-in when fourth of fifteen in a Feurs class E. Expected to make amends 7. BARALINA - Does not have much room for maneuver in a race like this. Seldom wins races ( 1/40) 8. BELLAULNOISE - Cannot be worth any consideration on paper and easily passed over 9. ARCADE DES GLENAN - Finished third on sole start over course and distance two years ago. Mostly struggling since then 10. BEA DARLING - Has never made the frame in three starts over course and distance. Best to watch 11. ACTION FORCE - Very capable mare when she can keep within the rules. Has failed to make an impact in four starts over track and trip thus far 12. AVA DES RIOULTS - Has shaped-up nicely at Laval for this entry. All shoes come off this time round. Player 13. BAHIA DE LIGNY - Well beaten in last start at Nancy. Has claims on the back of her previous efforts 14. BRUME DE GENETINE - Course and distance winner. Not the most reliable

sort but can pop-up 15. AURORE PHILS - Good effort when runner-up in an identical race at Nancy. Can go one better with Jean-Michel Bazire on board 16. BONNE AVENTURE - Well beaten last time in a class C. Moves down in grade here and can grab a small place 17. APHRODITE D'OPALE - Much improved last run when fourth at Amiens but still has a bit to find to win a race like today's Although (11) ACTION FORCE has a poor course record, she is reunited with Serge Peltier and this could be enough to see her back in the winners box. She already won three races this season and will be retained ahead of course and distance specialist (13) BAHIA DE LIGNY who has been well-preserved for this race. (15) AURORE PHILS could also be a danger. (11) ACTION FORCE - (13) BAHIA DE LIGNY - (15) AURORE PHILS - (12) AVA DES RIOULTS - (17) APHRODITE D'OPALE

Race 2 1. ANCHUZA - Has never made the frame in nine starts at Vichy and unlikely to change this figure 2. BRIHANA - Ran better than last placing suggests in a ridden race. All shoes come off and can spoil 3. BARAKA EXTRA - Useful mare in this class of event. Has a few lengths to find though. Place chance 4. ARCANGUES - Has shown good recent form and definitely enters the equation from this good draw 5. BRUME DE CLERMONT - Has plenty of early speed and looks hard to oppose if she can keep within the rules 6. BAGHEERA DU PALAIS - Won a similar contest at Toulouse a fortnight ago. Has obvious claims 7. BAHIA DE BOUGY - Finished fourth in a good race at Caen 20 days ago. Chance if she can reproduce this effort 8. BRISE DU BUIS - Has shown good recent form under the saddle and must be respected on switchback to harness racing 9. BLUE GIRL DU FER - Course winner last month over 2800m. Not disgraced at Nancy latest. Tough draw 10. BRUNE JULRY - Good last two runs on turf and can surprise back on sand today 11. BREVIANA - Back on terms with herself in last three runs and can feature if capable of keeping in stride all way round 12. ADORABLE HISTOIRE - Not the best of run when fifth of fourteen in a class F here last month. Outside chance It will be only the fourth time from fifty four runs that all shoes come off (5) BRUME DE CLERMONT. This has to be seen as a sign of confidence from connections. The six years old mare is by far the fastest in this line-up and should make a bold bid from this good draw. Judged on her fourth place at Caen (7) BAHIA DE BOUGY looks the main danger to the selection. (5) BRUME DE CLERMONT - (7) BAHIA DE BOUGY - (11) BREVIANA - (3)

BARAKA EXTRA

Race 3 1. CATY DES GENIEVRES - Does not make much appeal on recent form and best to pass over 2. CYBELE D'ERPION - Gone cold in last three starts. Enters the equation on the back of her previous form 3. CALIFORNIA ZEN - Encountered misfortunes in the running at La Capelle. Would have finised a lot closer with a clear run 4. CALIE DE LA COMTEE - Much preferred under the saddle but has shown good recent form and cannot be excluded of the equation 5. CATINKA BELLA - Back on top of her game in last run over 2850m. Drop in distance should not be a problem 6. CYBELE DU VERNET - Went through a purple patch last spring but has gone cold in last four starts 7. CIRCE QUESNOT - Made the running last time at Caen and this is not her preferred tactic. Can be given another chance 8. CHIRFA DE VISAIS - Cannot be worth any consideration on paper and easily passed over 9. CALYPSO PACO - Has failed to make the frame in last eleven starts. Showed better intentions when fifth at Feurs though 10. CALEDONIENNE - Has long been out of form and can be left over 11. CHANCELIERE - Two disqualifications from two public appearances. Best to watch 12. CIRCE DE CHANJAC - Well beaten on both starts behind the car-start and has quite a bit to find 13. CADIX DU RELAIS - Erratic mare who has failed to make an impact in two course runs. Ignore Trainer Jeremy Koubiche has a strong hand in this modest contest with both (3) CALIFORNIA ZEN who is running barefoot for this good entry and (2) CYBELE D'ERPION who is fitted with a special hood. Slight preference obviously goes to the trainer's partner. (4) CALIE DE LA COMTEE has a good draw and can be the surprise package on return to harness racing.

(3) CALIFORNIA ZEN - (2) CYBELE D'ERPION - (4) CALIE DE LA COMTEE - (7) CIRCE QUESNOT

Race 4 1. VERTIGE DE CHENU - Smart performer in the Province but faces a tough task in this class of event 2. TRUST SPEED - Useful sort on both codes. Made an encouraging return to harness racing at Saint-Galmier but still has plenty to find 3. VENUS DE BAILLY - Has never made the frame in eight runs at this course and unlikely to change this figure here 4. TALLIEN - Not disgraced when fourth over 2150m behind two of today's rivals. Extra-trip will favour 5. BAHIA QUESNOT - Smart mare who remains quite unreliable though. Can make the frame at a fair price 6. BOEING DU BOCAGE - Disappointed when only a distant sixth in the race of reference. Has plenty to find 7. COQUIN BEBE - Won the race of reference at 92/1 ahead of five of today's rivals. Multiple Group winner who is expected to follow-up with another good effort 8. UNIVERS DE DAIDOU - Pleasing effort when made late headways in the race of reference. Must be respected 9. UNE SERENADE - Has not recaptured last year's form yet but has strong credentials and cannot be ruled out 10. ULK MEDOC - Solid effort when third in a Group III at Enghien. Previously ran well at Vichy. Player 11. AUBRION DU GERS - Odds-on favourite when third in a scandinavian Group I last time. Does not know how to run a bad race. Hard to beat (11) AUBRION DU GERS would be a Prix d'amerique contender had he not been gelded. He is expected to reach the million euros mark in prize money this Saturday. Main rival is (7) COQUIN BEBE who showed big signs of resurgence here one week ago. (5) BAHIA QUESNOT and (8) UNIVERS DE DAIDOU are two others sound performers than can be on the shortlist. (11) AUBRION DU GERS - (7) COQUIN BEBE - (5) BAHIA QUESNOT - (8) UNIVERS DE DAIDOU
