1 Running Order Information Evergreen Afghan Hound Club Agility Trials Friday- Sunday, Jan 12-14, 2018 Fun Fur Paws Mt. Vernon, WA I-5 North/South: Take Exit #218 (Starbird Rd) and East (Southbound turn left, Northbound turn right). Continue East to the 4- way stop at Bulson Rd and turn left. Follow Bulson Rd. to the intersection with Tyee Rd (0.7 mi). Turn left and then after a short distance, turn right onto Stargate Place (look for the sign for Fun Fur Paws). Follow the road to the arena and parking. Judges: Laura Gillice & Art Brest Measurements: If you have not been measured or indicated that you have a height card, you must do so before you run. The gate sheets will be highlighted to indicate if you need to have your dog measured or show its card. A VMO is scheduled to be at the show, so measurements will be official. Start Times / Class Schedule: See the charts below. throughs: Exc Std and Exc Jww will be split into groups as indicated on the charts. All other classes will have a single walkthrough. Veterinarian: 24 Hour Pet Emergency Center, Avon Allen Rd., Mt. Vernon, WA Chuckanut Valley Veterinarian (staffed 24/7), 896 N. Burlington Rd., Burlington, WA Moveups: The deadline for moveups is Monday Jan. 8th, at 6PM. Moveups must be received in writing or by that deadline. Day-to-Day moveups are being accepted for Saturday and Sunday but MUST be received no later than ½ hour after the last class of the current day. Setup and crating: Crate setup is not available in the arena until Friday morning as the arena is used for classes on Thursday night. Crate space inside the arena is at a premium. There is crating in the stalls. Please note that these stalls must be shared by other exhibitors and their dogs. Stall doors must be left open at all times. RVs: Overnight RV camping is limited and must be reserved. questions to Robin Kletke at robinkletke@hotmail.com. RV info is available in the premium list. Water is NOT available on site, so plan accordingly. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT!!!!! As of 1/1/17, AKC is allowing all 3 classes to be built into a single course. That means 12 weave poles for Novice, and all 3 sends can be combined into a single set of obstacles or the sends can be identified by different tapes for each level. We will be building a single course and running all levels together. All of each height will run together, and we ll instruct the judge which level of send to judge for each dog.
